Placements & Internships : Scholarships are given to the students of ST and SC category. Key companies are the shipping company like FLEET, SCI. The average salary is around 3,50,000, highest paid is 10,00,000 and around 80% of the batch gets placed. The alumni which passed out are in the good post.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for B.sc Nautical science is the candidate should have 60% PCM in 12 and 50% in English either in 10 or 12. The entrance exam for Indian maritime university is the IMU CET(common entrance test). The typical cutoffs should be more than 75%.

Fees & Scholarships : Fees are INR.225000 per year. Scholarship for the under category cadets is available like for ST and SC. Almost all of them get scholarships which are under the category. The needful can take loans from any bank and required paperwork is done from the college.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings are from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM and in between the lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Quality and method of teaching are excellent. The overall ambience of college is very pleasant.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are three hostels for boys and one hostel for girls, the condition of the hostels are good they maintain the hygiene and there is wifi in all the hostels. The food of the college is above par and it is included in the annual fees of 2,25,000. All the classrooms are not air-conditioned but each class has one projector and it has separate desk and chair for students.

Clubs & Associations : There is no student societies or clubs in the college. The main festivals include the sports, IMU day (annual day) and many other events. The life in the college is not like the other engineering colleges, the Indian maritime university has its own discipline and esteem which would make your life successful.
