Placements & Internships : Placements: I am studying masters in computer application from Lucknow Region of IGNOU. I take my classes at UPTEC as I choose it as my study center. You can also study at IGNOU. Some of my seniors are well placed as I know, but there is no college placement at IGNOU. There is no placement cell at IGNOU. I heard a few years back that Wipro took some of the students, but I have done BCA (Bachelors in Computer Application) from IGNOU, so at least there is no college placement since then. Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi at IGNOU. The labs and classrooms are just fine. I have never been to the library, so I cannot tell about that, but since it is an open university, so no complaint about this stuff. There is no canteen facility in IGNOU Lucknow, and you have found rooms for yourself because there is no hostel too. There are delays in exam results too. The infrastructure is quite impressive. It had well-maintained classrooms, toilets, and halls. IGNOU is a highly recommendable university for the students who work and study. Faculty: The teachers at IGNOU (Lucknow) are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teachings are great, and most of them are impressive skills. The student to teacher ratio varies from each year to year. Many students are studying and doing jobs as well, so there may be uncertainty about that, and I did not get industry exposure during my studies. My course curriculum was above average and is upgradable as we can learn about the new technologies. Entrance Exams & Admissions : For Management Programmes admission announcements are issued twice a year March/April and September/October. Entrance Tests are held twice a year on the first Sunday of February and on the first Sunday of August. Please check the IGNOU OPENMAT for the exact dates. For B.Com(Bachelor of Commerce) admission announcements are issued in May/June session for July session. IGNOU Offers Round the Year Admission to its Programmes under the Walk-in-admission Scheme. Candidates can avail admission application forms at the Regional Centre/Study Centre, Headquarters and also can download the Prospectus and application forms from the university website at www.ignou.ac.in and can submit the same at the concerned Regional Centres either through Post on in Person. Application forms can be submitted online and programme fee can be paid online through internet gateway (both Credit and Debit Cards) cash deposits at designated banks and payment can also be made through Demand Drafts. Fees & Scholarships : @Rs. 2,000/- per year. Well IGNOU does offer a scholarship, but only to differently abled students.Let me elaborate about the same: Scholarship scheme under ‘Trust Fund’Under this scheme, 1000 scholarships (amounting Rs.50,000/-per year) are awarded to eligible students with disabilities for degree and post graduate level professional and technical courses from recognized institutions in India. 1000

Academics & Faculty : Class - Saturday & Sunday. Timing - 10 Am to 4 PM Exams - June % December. Depend on session Assignment - before 3 months to exams Quality of teaching is very good I am absolutely satisfied with my course, my college, the faculty and the placements.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :  No PG available. There is a good quality canteen Quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, dining halls, are good.
