Eligibility Criteria at K J College of Engineering & Management Research (KJCOEMR), Pune:

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech:

• The candidate should have passed the HSC (10+2) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education from a recognized institute.
• The candidate must have studied subjects English, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject with minimum 50% marks.
• Minimum 45% marks, in case of OBC and other categories.
• The candidate should have appeared JEE MAIN exam.

For Lateral Entry (3 years):

• The candidate should have passed Post-SSC or Post-HSC Diploma Course in Engineering/Technology with at least 45% marks.
• 40% marks in case of candidates of OBC and other categories.
• Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State, in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from an AICTE approved Institution with English as the medium of instruction at Diploma level.
• The candidate should have appeared in JEE MAIN exam.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech:

• The Candidate should have passed B.E/B.Tech from State Governments/MHRD/AICTE approved institutions.
• They must have passed their qualifying degree with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
• 45% for OBC categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only.
• Candidates must have a positive GATE score in their respective disciplines.

Application Process for B.Tech, M.Tech

Admission Process for B.Tech:

• College follows admission rules laid down by ‘Director of Technical Education’, Maharashtra state.
• As per the rule, 80% seats of every course are filled by centralized admission procedure (JEE score).
• 20% seats are filled at institute level.

Admission Process for Lateral Entry (3 years):

• Students who have completed diploma in engineering can get admission at the second-year level.

Admission Process for M.Tech:

• College follows admission rules laid down by Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra state.
• Students are admitted on the basis of GATE score or marks obtained at B.E level.
• For non-GATE candidates, entrance test will be taken at the college level.
