Kurnool Medical College (KMC) Currently the college has numerous undergraduate and post graduate medical courses. The college offer an MBBS program for 250 students per year. Tuition fee ranging from ₹120000 per year for the MBBS course and has increase in subsequent year.
For the postgraduate courses, the KMC provides medical degrees such as the Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) with numerous specialties. Some of the MD courses are General Medicine, Pediatrics, Anaesthesiology, Dermatology Intensive care, etc and the course intake for each specialty is between 2 to 20 students. For different medical courses offered in Kurnool Medical College the requirement for admission differs with level of study. For the MBBS program, candidates need to complete 10+2 in physics, chemistry, biology, and English with 50 % marks for general category. Also, applicants are required to be 17 years of age or more by December 31st in the year the application is being made. In India, admission to the first MBBS course is done merit based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under Graduate (NEET UG) and then counselling for admission based on NEET scores for MBBS.
