Katuri Medical College was established in 1997 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The institute is affiliated with the Dr. NTR Health Sciences University, Vijayawada. The university offers RUG, PG, and Ph.D. courses. Offers B.Sc. Nursing and MBBS at the undergraduate level, Diploma, M.Sc. Nursing, MS, and MD courses for 16 different specializations at the graduate level. Admissions are made for MBBS based on NEET UG, followed by guidance from NTA. Admissions to the MD and MS programs are based on performance on the NEET PG and assessment.

The University offers various internships at AIIMS with a stipend of up to Rs 5,000 per month for eligible students, who can apply for the position of Scientist, Nurse, or Assistant/Associate Professor.
