LLRM Medical College admission is open for various UG/ PG/ Diploma programmes. LMC Meerut is a constituent College of C.C.S. University, Meerut. It is one of the best medical college campuses in the state of Uttar Pradesh. LLRM Medical College comes in the list of top medical colleges in India. It was laid on 13th September 1963 by then the Hon’ble Chief Minister of U.P Late Shri Chandra Bhanu Gupta and later on, the college name was changed to  Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial College, One of the well-known freedom fighter of India. The college is located at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The first batch was comprised of 58 students, had taken admission in the undergraduate medical course in August 1966. Apart from this, It also has the facility of Hospital inside the campus for the public, which was started functioning since 30th January 1972 with a capacity of 1040 beds. The hospital building was inaugurated by the then  Hon’ble health minister of U.P, Sri Prem Chand Sharma. LLRM Medical College, [LMC] Meerut is affiliated with C.C.S (Chaudhary Charan Singh) University, Meerut. It is one of the best medical college campuses in the state of Uttar Pradesh. LLRM Medical College Admission 2024

LLRM Medical College is a State Government-run institute. It is approved by the Medical Council of India and is associated with Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Hospital. Lala Lajpat Rai Medical Colleges provides more than twenty-five courses under UG, PG, and Certification courses. LLRM Medical College provides degree and Diploma courses under Postgraduate and Undergraduate course. LLRM Medical College Admissions have a decent intake of students every year. It offers various diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medicine. The atmosphere on campus is friendly with beautiful trees and flower beds. Admission to the MBBS program is done based on marks scored in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG. Admission to the B.Sc (Nursing) program is done based on marks scored in the 10+2 level. Admission to the specialty courses like MD and MS and PG Diploma is done based on marks scored in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG) conducted by the National Board of Examinations.

The college offers a diploma in three specializations that are Pharmacy, X-Ray Technician, and Lab Technician. Diploma in Medical course is offered at LLRM Medical College with a course fee of INR 11,000 per annum. The fee structure for Certificate in X-RAY Technology at LMC Meerut is INR 9,000 per year. And the total seats offered are 180.

LLRM Medical College UG Admission 2024

LLRM Medical College offers Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) for a duration period of five years. The intake capacity for the MBBS program is 150 seats. The minimum age for seeking admission is 17 years. The maximum age limit for seeking admission is 25 years ( for general) and 30 years ( for reserved category). Candidates must obtain a valid NEET UG rank to apply for the MBBS program. The B.Sc program at LLRM Medical College is offered for a duration period of four years. The intake capacity is 50 seats.

LLRM Medical College UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

The students must take up Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, English, and any other elective subject at 10+2 level. However, to seek admission, the eligible candidates will have to appear in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). For SC/ ST/ OBC, the minimum passing marks shall be not less than 40%. Candidate can attempt this exam only three times until they cross the maximum age limit. Admission to B.Sc (Nursing) program is done based on marks scored in 10+2 level (Merit Basis).

LLRM Medical College PG Admission 2024

The college offers a few postgraduate programs in Doctor Of Medicine (MD), Master Of Surgery (M. S.), and PG Diploma Courses. The college offers 46 seats with 12 specializations in Doctor of Medicine (MD). The college offers 16 seats with 3 specializations in Master Of Surgery (MS). The college offers 17 seats with 8 specializations in PG Diploma Courses. All the diploma students are full-time postgraduate students attached to the concerned department. Duties and responsibilities are the same as M.D/M.S. students.

LLRM Medical College PG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

Candidates who have completed MBBS and internship are eligible to apply for admission into MS/ MD/ PG Diploma courses. Applicants can get admission based on the NEET PG result. NEET-PG is a computer-based test of 3 hours 30 minutes duration and has 300 MCQs to attempt. Candidates who belong to the General category and have scored a minimum of 50% are considered qualified and those who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC category should have obtained at least 40% to qualify the test. All the courses are of 2 years duration except for PG diploma.
