Marwari College Ranchi was established in 1963 by the Marwari Shiksha Trust to facilitate higher education for all the young and promising students of society, especially the tribes and downtrodden. The college of Jharkhand state came into existence with the sincere and incessant efforts of late Mr. Ganga Prasad Budhia. The first President of the Marwari College governing body was late Mr. Ganga Prasad Budhia. In July 1967 a separate wing was started remarkably because the number of students was increasing rapidly. 

MAT 2023 December session registrations are ongoing. The last date to apply for PBT, CBT and IBT is December 05, 11 and 14, 2023, respectively. XAT 2024 registrations are ongoing. Last date to apply is November 30, 2023.
