Eligibility Criteria at MCKV Institute of Engineering, [MCKVIE] Howrah:
Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech:
- Candidates applying for this course must pass 10+2 from a recognised Board to be eligible to apply for this course.
- Candidates must pursue Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 12th standard.
- Candidates must secure a minimum of 55% aggregate together in the three subjects.
Eligibility Criteria for MCA:
- Candidates applying for MCA course must possess a Bachelor's Degree in BCA from a recognised University to be eligible.
- Candidates should have opted for Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% in their Bachelor's Degree to be eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech:
- Candidates applying for M.Tech must possess a Bachelor's Degree in B.Tech from a recognises University.
- Candidates must secure a minimum of 55% to be eligible to apply for this course.
Application Process at MCKV Institute of Engineering, [MCKVIE] Howrah:
Application Process for B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech:
- Collect PI Form from the Institute before filling up Institute Online Admission form.
- Seat allotment card in the name of the Institute issued by the University/WBJEEB respectively for (M.Tech/MCA/Lateral) . (Original +01 Photocopy)
- Original admission form of WBJEEB & counterpart of the money receipt of relevant amount issued by WBJEEB/University. (Original +01 Photocopy)
- Entrance examination Admit Card and 01 self-attested photocopy
- Admit card of Secondary/Higher Secondary or equivalent exam as proof of age (original + 3 self-attested photocopies)
- Marksheet of Secondary/HS/equivalent (Original+3 self-attested Photocopies).
- Original copy of Migration/Registration issued from the Universities, where necessary (applicable for B.Sc passed candidates.
- Passport (01 photocopies) if available.
- Guardian’s address proof (01 photocopies of either Voter ID/Electricity Bill/Aadhar Card)
- Photocopy of the Income Certificate in case of Economically Backward.
- Photocopy of the valid Driving License.(especially for the Automobile students)
- Student’s Photograph (5 copies)
- Parents/Guardian’s passport size photograph for both Mother & Father ( 01 copy each)
- Please visit www.antiraggaing.in or www.amanmovement.org and submit the online affidavit/undertaking and submit the print out of the same to the Institute.
- Pan Card & Aadhar Card : Student & Parent (01 photocopy)

- Candidates will be selected on the basis of the rank held by them in the merit list.
Admission Process for MCA:
- Candidates will have to go through a JECA Entrance EXAM conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board
- Candidates will thereby obtain a rank for admission into the course and will be selected on the basis of the rank held.
Admission Process for M.Tech:
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of the rank held on the merit list.
