Mulund College of Commerce is a private institute which is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The institute was established in 1970 and is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. MCC College Mulund admission is done on the basis of merit only. The college offers BCom, BMS, BSc and Lateral Entry admission to BSc IT program at the UG level and offers MSc and MCom program at the PG level. MCC Mulund also offers Diploma course in various disciplines at the UG and PG level.

The objectives of the institute are to:

To cultivate such qualities in the younger generation which will help them to be responsible members of the society in their adult life.
To impart higher education in Commerce in response to the rising demand of industries and organizations.

The college has been acknowledged at national level by NAAC in 2004, 2011 and 2016 with an “A Grade.” Dedicated team of experienced teachers, well stocked library and modern computer labs help in forging strong bonds between different learning styles. A wide range of courses are offered in the institution. The college also has a Ph.D. Research Centre in Commerce. The institute has a library for all the students. The library houses both academic and non-academic books wiyh a total of 2702 books.

Gymkhana:

Mulund College of Commerce also has a gymkhana. THe gymkhana has indoor games like Carrom Board, Table Tennis and Chess.

Canteen:

MCC has a combined canteen facility for girls and boys. The food is available at a veruy pocket friendly rate.

Computer Lab:

There are computer labs for all the students. For the ease of teaching, there are projectors installed in these Computer Labs too.

‘Technobeat’ an inter-collegiate technical fest organized by IT and CS departments of Mulund College of Commerce was held on 1st and 2nd of February 2019.
Panache:
Panache 2018, an annual media festival of Department of Mass Media was held for the very first time from 4th October, 2018 to 6th October 2018.
Inspira:
A Bi-annual newsletter was initiated by the department of Management studies in the year 2012. This activity aims at providing platform for thinking and writing skills among the students.
SOCH:
More than a fest it was a platform for each and every student to showcase their thoughts and test them to see what kind of change they bring in the world of entrepreneurs.

MCC Admission Procedure:

Admission is purely on merit and is subject to availability of seats as per the directions issued by the University of Mumbai and Directorate of Higher Education, Mumbai region from time to time, duly following the reservation policy of the Government of Maharashtra. A transparent admission procedure is followed strictly based on the standard norms. Any modification in admission guidelines will be notified on the college notice board at the time of admission.

The Management or the college does not accept any donation or capitation fee for admission to any course offered by the college. In case, any person approaches the students/ parents for donation/ capitation fee, the same should be reported to the Principal immediately.
