• The NIFT 2025 application form will be released soon by the NTA. Students interested in B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M programs can apply and the exam is scheduled for February 2025.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology Kolkata was founded in 1995 and the college is a master in the Eastern Part of India for administering education in the field of Design, Technology and Management. NIFT Kolkata is one of the five oldest centres among the NIFT organisation. With a symbiotic balance amongst the state government and the garment industry. NIFT Kolkata fills in as a pathfinder for fashion training and research.

NIFT Kolkata admissions are offered at graduate and undergraduate levels. Students can opt for a lot of specializations both at the graduate and postgraduate levels. Additionally, the college is also offering continuing education programs with one-year duration in particular specializations.

NIFT courses are offered in undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. All the courses have separate specializations to elect for students. The fee structure varies depending on the year of studying for Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. The fee structure for all courses at NIFT has been given in the following section:

• Course Fee for Bachelor's Degree from 1st year to 4th year is ranging from INR 153,000 to 192,000/- per annum.
• The course fee for the Master's Degree is ranging from INR 153,000 to 159,000/- per annum.
• Ph.D course fee is INR 170,000/- per annum.

1. How are students assessed in the regular programs?
   - Continuous assessment and appraisal are engaged throughout the semester by way of assignments, projects, internships and presentations. The aim is to closely monitor students' progression as accounting professionals and provide perceptive feedback to students on their performance and evolution.
2. How does the organization function?
   - The Institution is supervised by the Director-General. Each campus is managed by a director. The academic departments have Chairpersons as academic heads of the respective departments.
