Placements & Internships : Decent Placements take place in PESIT. The placement of both PESU-Banshankari and PESIT took place together even when PESIT was under VTU, Belagavi. Companies coming to PESIT are categorised into three tiers: Tier 1 (Above 8 LPA), Tier 2 (4-8 LPA), Tier 3 (Less than 4 LPA). A decent number of companies come under all tiers. Some examples such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Amazon, Google etc. PESIT students, who are under VTU, are required to do a two-month internship during their final semester from any company situated in Bangalore. Students who come under PESU do a 6-month internship in their final year.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission to PESIT-BSC used to happen through the COMED-K examinations. Just like every other engineering examination, COMED-K ranks were declared and students were called for college selection process in Karnataka. PESIT-BSC used to be one of the colleges that took students based on their COMED-K rankings. Recently, from 2018, PESIT-BSC was rechristened as PESU-ECC (Electronic City Campus) after it was inducted under PESU-Banshankari.

Fees & Scholarships : SGT University, Gurgaon Management Fee Structure. Fees of SGT University are INR 3+ lakh per year and Hostel+mess charges are around 1.2 LPA. Loans are easily available from all major banks. PESIT campus houses a Union bank branch within its premises.

Academics & Faculty : Faculty at PESIT is very experienced and is always ready to help. Classes commence from 8 am in the morning until 3:15pm in the afternoon. A short break of 30 minutes and a lunch break of 45 minutes are provided during the college duration. Lecturers are experienced but sometimes few lectures turn out to be boring. This might be due to VTU curriculum.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Currently, PESIT has a single Boys Hostel, which provides a three-sharing room. Hostel and mess fee is a one time payment of 1.2 LPA. However hostel rules and timings are quite stringent. Quite a few PGs could be found in Konappana Agrahara. Infrastructure-wise, the college is ok. Teaching equipment in the classes is sufficient, however the Computer Labs are in dire need of an upgrade. Sometimes students have to share machines during labs. Apart from the college mess, there is an APU-canteen which provides great food at reasonable cost.

Clubs & Associations : Clubs and societies are fewer as compared to PESU Banshankari, or other colleges. Some of the college clubs are: Enigma(Car building and testing, ATVs), Avions(Robotics club related to avionics: drones, airplanes), IEEE Photonics etc This college sports a studious atmosphere. Unlike other colleges, this college does not have fun-based events and fests in numbers as compared to other colleges like BMS or even PESU-Banshankari

Placements & Internships : The college follows a compulsory Internship program which runs for 2 months from January to February. I am currently interning at GetMyUni for the duration of 2 months. This is a paid internship with a stipend of 7000/- pm. There is a vast variety of talent in PESIT and as such, the students are hired for a multitude of fields ranging from Full stack development, WebDev, DevOps to ML and Data mining related roles. Some have also been hired for managerial roles. The average salary for Technical jobs is around 7-8 LPA for CSE,ISE streams. The highest salary in 2019 placement was around 40L CTC. Percentage of placement is high, around 95%+. The alumni network is mediocre, with some alumni interested in communication with current students.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : PESIT-BSC was affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University(VTU) till 2018. As such, admissions were through COMED-K, KCET and management quotas. Since 2018, it has become the sister branch of PES University, following their curriculum. Entrance Exam from 2018 onwards is PESSAT. I applied through COMED-K, the cut-off for which ended at around 3000 air in 2015.The cut-off has drastically reduced in the following years, all the way down to ~1500 air for CSE, ISE in the following years. The college has unaffiliated itself with VTU since 2018, joining PES University as a sister branch and is now part of its independent curriculum. The admissions procedure now follows PESSAT norms .There are two counselling rounds.

Fees & Scholarships : PES Institute of Technology, [PESIT] Bangalore Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 3+ Lakhs per year. There are a few scholarships available either through the college merit list or through government and third party means.

Academics & Faculty : Each class is equipped with a large screen display for teaching purposes along with green boards for written learning aids. The teaching sessions are recorded for accessing online by the students of that course. The Faculty for ISE comprises of some teachers that are good at teaching and some that are mediocre. Assignments are given for each subject and are graded.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is one boys hostel on campus and another one off campus along with one for girls. There are a ton of PGs nearby at walkable distances as well as 2,3 BHK flats. College food is not that good. The food is edible but nothing to talk about. Many hostel students prefer to order food from outside rather than eating in the college mess. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated along with the Labs. Though there is no other positive about the labs. Labs use outdated PCs with slow hardware and unsupported versions of Ubuntu. Some packages needed for Python programming are incompatible with such old systems and the college has still not updated the systems in the LABS. The internet in the labs is unusable as it does not provide sufficient speed for any work. The library is spacious but not well lit or ventilated. There are windows but they are always kept closed. There is a decent selection of books related to the courses but none for any other domain.

Clubs & Associations : There is not much in terms of extra curricular activities when compared to other colleges. There are a few clubs for dancing and a few related to particular streams(ECE,MECH), but even those are restricted and are not funded by the college. There are ONLY 2 festivals in the college, namely MAAYA and ACTIVITY DAY. College life in general is monotonous and not very happening. There are a few technical events here and there but that's about it.

Placements & Internships : Placements are good for the students who belong to the departments of Computer Science and Information science. A number of IT-based companies visit the college for hiring students during the time of 7th and 8th semesters. Some core companies that hire students from Electrical and Mechanical branches will also be showing up. Students from the electronic city campus have to travel to the Banashankari branch to attend their placements.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The PESIT BANGALORE SOUTH CAMPUS located in bangalore is one among top ranked engineering colleges in Karnataka. The admissions for bachelors degree courses are based on the cutoffs scored in enterance exams like KCET and COMED-K.My admission was based on my KCET score.Students from Karnataka state are eligible wit their cutoff of KCET ranks whereas students from other states need to have a good score in COMED-K to get a seat.Management seats are also available.

Fees & Scholarships : PES Institute of Technology, [PESIT] Bangalore Fee Structure. The fees of PES Institute of Technology is INR 1,20,000. The fees for the seats based on KCET and COMED-K are fixed by the Government. the students joining under PES-University have to pay the fees fixed by the University. The college bus fees vary from INR18000 to INR 26000 based on the distance of travel. All the fees should be paid in the form of Demand Draft or through RTGS Students can apply for Scholarships provided by the Govt of Karnataka based on their eligibility or catagory.

Academics & Faculty : The faculties here are good and maintain a friendly environment. In particular, the faculties of Information Science are really cool. More priority is given for academics. The faculties are always available for helping the students during classes and also they tend to spend their personal time for the students who approach them. Very few faculties are quite strict.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college campus quite huge including areal facilities for sports and entertainment. The college building includes classrooms and laboratories that are sufficiently special. There are two cafeterias, one of the 4th floor and the other on the 5th floor of the college main block. The wide cricket ground and football ground are situated very close to the main entrance of the college. There are two basketball courts and a Tennis court in front of the college hostel. The hostel is located at the backside of the college.

Clubs & Associations : IEEE is a prominent club headed by the HoD of the Information Science and Engineering. ENIGMA  is another clud that actively involves in building models and a few actual cars. Another club RAAS works on Robotics Development.  They conduct workshops and seminar sessions every now and then.

Placements & Internships : Quite a few prominent companies from the IT sector visit PESIT every year to recruit students as part of campus placements. Companies that offer a range of salary packages, starting from as low as 2.5lpa to those that offer up to 50lpa come to PESIT every year. Some of these companies recruit in mass numbers while others are selective. About 85% of the batch gets placed on an average every year. The roles that these companies hire for are mainly technical, while a few of them have looked for Data Analysts, Business Developers and Digital Marketers. A huge chunk of students get hired as IT developers. A few companies that hire in large numbers are Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, etc. The faculty members do help students find suitable internships, but students often end up finding internships on their own.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I was admitted to PESIT through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test College Allotment process. My KCET rank was eligible for admission in PESIT. The exam is a fairly easy one, since the syllabus is primarily the 12th grade CBSE Science stream portions. Requires a fair bit of practice on a regular basis. The typical cut-off for my course i terms of the required rank is around 6000 for the general category.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee per year, including the KCET fees comes anywhere between 70k and 80k INR, depending on how much the college fees charged may vary. Students belonging to minority castes may avail a government provisioned scholarship annually which waives off the KCET fees, About all the students from underprivileged castes get this scholarship.  Loans are often not needed to pay the college fee alone, since it is very affordable if admitted through KCET. However, if a student hails from a highly impoverished family, they may need to take a loan. The ease of accessibility of these loans depends on the student's family's financial condition and other factors.

Academics & Faculty : PESIT sticks to its routine. Classes start for the day at 8AM and conclude at 3.15PM with 2 breaks in between. Teachers are very punctual and efficiently use the class hours to maximize productivity in terms of either work done or portions covered. Assignments are given about three times a semester, usually before the monthly internal assessments, so students get a rough idea about what's to come. Assignments are also evaluated in a timely manner and faculty members assist the students in case of any difficulty. The quality and method of teaching is satisfactory, but can be better. Teachers enthusiastically offer help and assistance with research work. The overall experience in college is quite satisfactory. Academics can be slightly better in terms of teaching. But students who are interested in research can find highly experienced and skilled teachers to guide them. They can also work with teachers pursuing their own doctorates.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 separate hostels for boys and girls. The boys' college is on-campus, while the girls' college is located near Amaatra Academy, about 6 kms from the college. Hostels are well-maintained and well-equipped. The hostel fee per year comes up to around 120000 INR, which would be about 10000 INR.  There are quite a few good PGs located within walking distance from the college premises. They charge an affordable amount per month. The food offered in PESIT hostels can be better. They can be more nutritious and satisfying in terms of taste and quality. The same caterers who provide food in the hostels are in charge of catering food for the college cafeteria and food bus. The food is slightly overpriced and can be of better quality. Also, PESIT has very few places to get food from. PESIT definitely needs more accessible food points throughout the campus since right now these food points are sparsely distributed within the campus. Classrooms, labs and libraries are well equipped. Almost all the computers are in good working condition. The library is packed with books and is regularly updated with newer versions of good books. Every classroom, seminar hall and lab is equipped with a projector and a screen to display presentations, videos and any digital supplementary content as the students or faculty may see fit. The benches and other necessities are in good condition. Wi-Fi accessibility can be better throughout college.

Clubs & Associations : Clubs such as Enigma, Avions, etc are active in PESIT which work with automobiles, drones, etc. A number of IEEE clubs such as RAS(Robotics and Automation Club), Women in Engineering etc are also very active. A number of research clubs are also very active. The main cultural events are Maaya and Activity Day Fest. A number of tech events are also organized throughout the year, such as hackathons and project exhibitions.  College life in general is good, but it can include more events and activities to make it a more fun experience.

Placements & Internships : Placements are the only reason why this college is up and running. We are required to find an internship on our own. Internships during the working days of the college are not allowed. The staff is not at all supportive.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Go to this college through CET. The management showed no sense of respect, hospitality and was very irresponsible.

Fees & Scholarships : Coming through CET my fees are okay and not that high. But I know students who got through management and paid a huge amount.

Academics & Faculty : Faculty is supportive when it comes to studies. But for other activities and extra curriculars, not even a single staff member is supportive. Teaching is good and emphasis is given to the students understanding of the concept.

Clubs & Associations : Clubs are organized and run by students themselves. No support from the staff here either. Technical clubs are good and a lot of options are available too. Arts and Science clubs are less in number and are well organized.

Service based compaines like accenture and infosys take the most number of students each year. There are three tiers into which the companies visting are sorted based on their offers. Average salaries will be around 5-6 lakhs per year for each student.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Entrance exams for admissions in our college are CET,COMDEk,PASSAT.The eligibility criteria for each exam is different. Students with rankings inside 10000 could easily get admissions through CET.

Fees & Scholarships : PES Institute of Technology, [PESIT] Bangalore Management Fee Structure. The course fee at PES Institute of Technology, [PESIT] Bangalore is Rs. 4 lakhs per year excluding hostel fees Fees for each student if admitted through CET is 60,000 per year and there are no special scholarships from the college side but the govt. offers a scholarship of 18,000 each year.Almost every student who applies to the govt, scholarship program gets a scholarship if they get past the eligiblity criteria.

The duration of each class is 1 hour. There are two breaks,  30 and 45 mins each. The quality of teaching is good. Most of the teachers  have a good experience in their own field.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two college hostel buildings, one for boys and another for girls. The hostel fee is around 1 lakh per year. There is no per monthly plan. There are many PG buildings around the college with varible prices best suited for each student according to their needs. The food in the college is okay and the prices are reasonable. A regular meal costs around 60 rupees. The classrooms and labs are well maintained, there is a huge library. There is no wifi facility for students. There are 4 canteens in the college.

Clubs & Associations : There are no clubs or associations in the college as of now,but they are planning to start them this year. There is one college fest that happens each year called the MAYA. A 24 hour hackthon called Ingenious takes place each year. Technical fests like KALPANA are also conducted. College life is generally good with some ups and downs.

Placements & Internships : Till now i haven't done any prior internships but our college provides an opportunity to do research work on any particular domain. It can be Web Technology, Machine Learning and Data analyst. In terms of CS/IT our college prefers technical companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Wipro and few more and for other departments like Mechanical and Electronics, college focuses on hiring those companies that work on manufacturing and building electronic equipment. It also has MBA programme and students from MBA background generally end up getting placed in sales and marketing companies. According to the statistics of old batches mostly 90% students gets placed based on Tier1,2 and 3 and the average salary comes between 5-6 lacs grabbed by 50% of the students. Highest salary is 18lpa offered by Samsung and among 20% students got placed in Tier 1 companies grabbing 10-12 Lacs package.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : IMS Unison University, [IUU] Dehradun Management Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 1,15,000 per year. To join this prestigious college, there is an eligibility criteria that all students, after passing 12th has to go through. A student must have 70% on their 12th boards. So to get into this college all students must go through an entrance exam called COMEDK which is basically for non-banglorian students staying outside karnataka and for Karnataka local students they have to write KCET. Students can also join through Management KOTA where the fee structure is 4-5 lacs per annum. For every department in our college the cutoff varies. Lets say a student wants to pursue Computer science which is the top branch then he/she must posses 75% on their 12th boards. So for my course i.e Information Science the cutoff is around 70%.

Fees & Scholarships : PES Institute of Technology, [PESIT] Bangalore Management Fee Structure. The fee for my course is 4LPA. Their admission fees start from 38k to 90k. Good scholarship / loan facility will be offered only to Karnataka state students depending on their quota. If you are not from Karnataka you will not get any good scholarship / loan facility. Well am not aware of the college loan facility.

Academics & Faculty : College starts from morning 8 am to 3:15 pm and has 2 short breaks and long breaks. Each class is conducted for a maximum of 45 minutes and breaks are for maximum 45 mins. 3 internal exams are conducted every semester and out of 3 teachers select the best of 2 internals and calculate the average internal marks of a particular subject. Each semester 3 assignments are given that carry 3 marks for each.  All teachers focus on building the basics and foundation of each student right from the beginning of the semester. The quality of teaching is quite impressive and each teacher confronts students who get less IA marks. Overall experience is quite average because they are strict towards academics and puts a lot of academic pressure otherwise everything is fine.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 hostels one is present in Amatraa academy and the other one i.e the Boys hostel is present inside the college campus. The hostels i.e the Boys and girls hostel in Amatraa are much better and have good infrastructure and diverse facilities, whereas the hostel in college is comparatively worse because there are lot of issues like Voltage fluctuation, Geyser partially working and Food is bad in some cases.  There are some good PGs near Konappa agrahara which is the nearest to college. Such PG's cost comes around 5-6k which is quite reasonable. In college the food provided on the 4th floor is quite good and costs range from 50/- to 150/-. They provide both north and south indian food.  In terms of ammenities, college doesn't provide public wifi except the library. The library of our college has books ranging from technical to marketing. The Labs of ISE department are quite good and well structured thus providing proper infrastructure to all students.

Clubs & Associations : Our college is associated with some well known clubs and societies like Developer students club, Avions, and IEEE as per my knowledge. It also organises Technical workshops for eg: IOT, Machine Learning and Web development, etc. In a year there are two festivals organised and they are Mayaa and Activity day. So in this Maaya event it has all kind of activities like sports, gaming, food stalls and many more mini games.  College life is not that good as per expectations because students have to maintain 85% attendence otherwise teachers take strict actions like calling their parents over phone otherwise in terms of teaching it is average.

The average salary figures were somewhere around 6 lakhs. As per my knowledge the highest paid was 24 lakhs & untill now around 40% of the people who attended placements are placed. The alumni network is quite good & there is no need to worry about that.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The criteria was basically 2nd PUC pass & good rank in CET. It was through CET that I got into this college. The cut off was 6000 rank for cse at the time of my admission.

Fees & Scholarships : 70000 is what i pay per year for the course fee. There's one scholarship offer which is availbale from the government side that is EPASS. Eligibility for this scholarship is basically that the annual income must be under 2.5 lakhs. There are no loans that are provided as per my knowledge.

Academics & Faculty : The quality of education provided by my college is considerably better compared to other colleges in that region. I am in my final year & i'm quite satisfied about my engineering expierences.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two hostels, one for girls & the other for boys. The hostel fee is around 2 lakhs. The classrooms are ventilated well, labs are well equipped, there's a vast range of books in the library & there's no wifi provided.

MANAGEMENT QUOTA from which anyone can take the admission provided he/she has secured over 60% marks in  Physics, CHEMISTRY  and MATHS in 10th and 12th board exams. For every branch there is a cut-off to clear in CET and COMEDK so according to your rank you will be assigned the branch. I got my admission through Management.

Fees & Scholarships : PES Institute of Technology, [PESIT] Bangalore Management Fee Structure. The course fee at PES Institute of Technology, [PESIT] Bangalore is Rs. 4 lakhs per year excluding hostel fees. For KCET it is 60k, for comedk this goes upto 1.7L. Scholarships are available to economically backward students. Most of the nationalised banks provide you student loans for our college because of its reputation.

Academics & Faculty : Classes are an hour each with 6 classes per day with some Saturdays and all Sundays off. Teachers are good and helpful in clearing doubts. The college has a good staff and atmosphere. It is a bit strict compared to other colleges.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : College infrastructure is decent. The Main Gate is very far from the campus. The college has got a nice Cricket Ground up front. WIFI is a major issue in our college. Classes are on par with other private colleges and have the necessary facilities, including projectors. For a stay you can either opt for hostel which will charge you around 1.2L /year and is very strict, or you can try for PGs nearby, which will offer you a decent room for around 7k.

Clubs & Associations : The college does not promote many extra curricular activities. The college hosts one Technical fest called Prakalpa and one very famous Tech-Cultural fest called MAAYA annually. The overall experience is great and if you are looking forward to pursuing a career as a Software Engineer, PESU South Campus is a decent choice.

Placements & Internships : In this college, there is no sufficient time for doing internship as there are no holidays. I have done no prior internship. Although one can do it if they do it from Home itself i.e. work from home. Only 2 months are fixed in the entire 4 years for internship that too in starting of 8th semester. This internship is mandatory for all the students. The college gives 100% placement as quoted by them. Although it depends upon one's capability to get placed. A lot of companies visit college during the 7th and 8th semesters. Being a reputed college in Bangalore, a lot of good companies visit PESIT.Most of the companies come for the role of associate software developer in tech field. Most of the students get placed by end. The average package of PESIT is around 5-6 lacs per annum. Many students get good offers from good companies. It all depends on the resume of student.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : PESIT is one of the recognised colleges in Bangalore. The eligibility criteria for getting admission is not so complex. All you need to give is an entrance exam. First you need to give a COMEDK (ENTRANCE EXAM). After securing a rank you need to go through counselling process. For PESIT one should secure a rank between 2500-3500 in COMEDK.

Fees & Scholarships : Rs. 1,70,000/- is the course fee per year at PES Institute of Technology, [PESIT] Bangalore. This is just the tuition fees. If the student is an outsider,he/she needs to pay 1 lacs for hostel accommodation. Also scholarship options are available for students.A student can write an exam for scholarship.there is a special quota for J&K region students. If a student is from J&K he/she can easily get scholarship by providing sufficient documents. Loans are also an option who cant afford to pay tution fees.Student can easily get loans which are provided by the bank which is there in college itself. UNION BANK OF INDIA resides inside the college itself and can provide loans for students. The student needs to provide sufficient documents.

Academics & Faculty : The college is working from Monday to Friday. Although college keeps some Saturdays working. The facaukties are very supportive and they will push you a lot. But college is strict in terms of attendance. A student needs to maintain a minimum of 85% attendance. If not, colleges might take some action. Some of the faculties are very strict and some are lineant. There are different faculties for different branch. The faculties are hight educted and have sufficient knowlede in their respective domains.

Clubs & Associations : Until last year PESIT didn't have any clubs or association. But now they have got clubs. The first club was Avions which  is an aerodynamic club mostly for mechanical branch students. Now they have Coding club which is open to all the branches. the college has two main cultural events. one is for inter colleges and the other one is for inter department.MAAYA is an inetr college culktural fest which happens once a year.MAAYA is the most important event as it gathers a lot of crowd from different colleges. ACTIVITY DAY is an inter department fest which happens every odd semester. It involves all the departments that are there in college. INGENIUS is a technical event which is a 24 hour hackathon. Students participate from across the colleges and they need to build a project within 24hrs. Sports events take place once a year for inter colleges and also for inter departement. Both happen every alternate semester. There's both indoor as well as outdoor sports activities. for me in general life in this college is a mix of all.The college is very strict in particular domains.we dont get holidays much after every semester as the saturdays are not working so they compensate staurdays in this holidays.small activities happens every now and then.there are good places in college to hangout with friends.overall the college is bit strict but eventually everyone get through.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college only started in 2005 so it's still building its campus. Overall the infrastructure is pretty good. In the coming 5 to 7 years this college will have the best infrastructe in entire bangalore. as of now the college has a good cricket ground whic is managed by the team of anil kumble.thers only one hostel inside the campus which is for boys.girls hostel is loacted around 4 kms from college. The hostel cost is around 1lac/year both for boys and girls. Now they are building hostels so they can accomodate both boys and girls inside the same campus. The college is located in electronic city which is a good place to be around.Students who doesnt want to stay in hostels can look for PG which is within 2kms of radius. The hostel food, according to me, is pretty good compared to others.they give 4 meals a day i.e breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. There are 3 canteens in college which offer good food at affordable prices.Th lunch and breakfast meals cost around Rs 45/meal.
