Highlights of Rajasthan Technical University Admission 2024

Rajasthan Technical University B.Tech Admission 2024

RTU Kota has the most diverse range of subjects and specializations available in different fields of study. B.Tech is a UG program offered for eligible students at the college. This course is provided with a course duration of 4 years. The respective specializations are, as listed in the table below:

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must possess good scores in 10+2 and must be eligible to appear for the qualifying entrance exams. 

B.Tech Selection Process

Candidates are required to possess a valid score for the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) exam or JEE-MAINS.

Rajasthan Technical University B.Arch Admission 2024

Rajasthan Technical University offers admissions to various courses at the undergraduate level which include studies in B.Arch given in the field of architecture. Some of these UG courses have subjects or specializations designated under them. 

B.Arch Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have good scores in 10+2 to be eligible to appear for the qualifying entrance exams. 

B.Arch Selection Process

The selection process is based on scores secured by the candidate in NATA (For B.Arch candidates).

BHMCT is a course provided in the field of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. This undergraduate program is provided for 4 years.  The candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria for the particular course, they wished to get enrolled in.

BHMCT Eligibility Criteria

The basic criteria include that the candidate to have completed higher secondary from a recognized institution/ board with valid scores.

BHMCT Selection Process

Candidates are required to clear the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) exam.

M.Tech is a PG program preferably offered for students with a B.Tech degree. This degree is provided for 2 years of course duration.  Admission to these courses is done through the university accepted examination. M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must have valid scores in the bachelor’s degree. 

M.Tech Selection Process

Candidates are required to secure valid scores in CAM-2024.

M.Arch is offered to candidates who hold a B.Arch degree. RTU Kota admission offers various postgraduate courses and research programmes after the completion of the undergraduate degree. This program has one specialization under them, as given below.

M.Arch Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must have valid scores in the B.Arch degree. 

M.Arch Selection Process

The selection process is based on valid scores in CAM-2024 exams.

Master of Business Administration is a 2 years PG program offered to eligible candidates. The basic criteria include the completion of an undergraduate degree with the relevant subjects. The course is provided in subjects like Finance, Marketing, HRM, IT. 

MBA Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must hold valid scores in the bachelor’s degree. 

MBA Selection Process

Candidates are required to clear the CMAT-2024 exam with qualifying scores.

MCA is provided for 2 years to students with a computer science background. A student with valid scores in BCA degree is ideally selected for the MCA course.

The applicant must possess a valid score in BCA or any relevant bachelor’s course.

Candidates are required to appear for the NIMCET-2024 exam.

PhD is provided to students who hold a masters degree with valid scores and the specializations are, as listed below:

The applicant must possess a valid score in a masters degree in any relevant field.

Candidates are required to appear for the qualifying entrance exam.

The admission process ideally requires the candidates to fulfil a set of eligibility criteria for the applied course. 

For B.Tech, 

• Admissions are done on the basis of REAP/ JEE Mains rank and PCM percentage in 12th Std with a minimum 45% aggregate for general category and 40% aggregate for SC/ST/Others.
• The criteria for direct admissions at the College level against management quota is 12th Std with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum of 45% aggregate for the general category and 40% aggregate for SC/ST/Others.
• The Registration Forms may be collected in person from the College campus or downloaded from the College website

For M.Tech,

• Admissions are made through the Counseling conducted by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota and also directly at the College level.

For MBA, 

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the scores of CAT, CMAT, and MAT. The final selection will take place on the basis of counselling.

For MCA, 

• Rajasthan Technical University annually conducts an entrance test called Rajasthan Common Admission Test/RMCAAT for selecting candidates for the MCA course.
• Applicants for the MCA program must have All India Common Entrance Test (AIMCET) scores to apply for the course.
• The criteria for direct admissions at the College level against management quota is Graduate with a minimum of 50% aggregate for the general category and 45% aggregate for SC/ST/Others.

The registration process commences by the second week of July 2021. During the last day of admission, the applicant must fill the application form and submit the request in person or through the website.

Steps to apply for Rajasthan Technical University Admission

Step 1: The applicants are instructed to read all the terms and conditions carefully.

Step 2: The candidate is required to fill the application form correctly and completely.

Step 3: The application form includes details like personal information including full name, mail id, contact number and permanent address.

Step 4: The education qualification of the candidate must be entered which includes the examinations passed, the Board studied and the name of the Institution along with the year of passing.

Step 5: A section of the application form also required the candidate to fill in details about their parents/ guardians.

Step 6: Other accomplishments or achievements of the candidate must be recorded.

Step 7: Marksheets and certificates should be attached with the application form before submission.

Step 8: The applicant should be aware of the last date and time for submission of the form.

Step 9: The submission of the application form must be completed well in advance and the candidate should be prepared for the upcoming admission process.
