Facilities:

Various facilities are given to the staff and students for giving them better place of education and a peaceful tenure for stay. Canteen, hostel, security, labs for different subjects, gym, mess, computer centre, etc. form an improtant part of the institute. 

Institute Philosophy

• To provide specialized high quality education to build professionals in Pharmaceutical build professionals in Pharmaceutical business, Industry.
• To explore the frontiers of knowledge from industry through independent research, as well as in collaboration with other entities in Pharmaceutical business or Education.
• To equip the students with high level of conceptual analytical and descriptive abilities to handle pharmaceutical industry problems.
• Strong interaction with business and industry particularly in the areas of teaching, seminars, training and placement in Pharmaceutical industry.

Building
The main academic building includes administrative wing, teaching block, well equipped research labs, full fledged library, animal house and various department like-

Pharmaceutics Department:

• A pharmaceutics laboratory with Dissolution apparatus, Disintegration app., Stability chambers, Bottle filling and washing machine, Tablet compression machine etc.
• Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department:Pharmaceutical chemistry laboratory with Digital melting point apparatus, Fume hood, Deep freezer, Vaccum pump etc. A well equipped Pharm. Analysis lab with Instruments like UV-visible spectrophotometer (SCHIMADZU 1650), FTIR (SCHIMADZU 8400s), Karl Fischer apparatus, etc.
• Pharmacology Department: A well equipped Pharmacology laboratory with various instruments like Plethysmometer, Rota rod, EDDY’s hot plate etc.
• Pharmacognosy Department:
  A well equipped pharmacognosy laboratory with Motic microscope, Microtome, Muffle furnace, IR moisture balance and Extraction assemblies etc.
