SRM University, Sonepat has implemented a distinctive scholarship programme called the ‘SRMH Scholar Search Programme’ to encourage and support meritorious candidates. Under this program, an applicant can avail 100% scholarship on the university tuition fee. The scholarship offered is applicable for the duration of the program and is subject to maintaining the required CGPA. Scholarships can be availed in different UG and PG programs of the university. Chancellor’s Scholarship

SRM University, Sonepat's Chancellor’s scholarship is for academically meritorious candidates and achievers in sports. It is offered to the students based on their economic background. Candidates must have qualified national level entrance examination SRMHCMAT. 100 % Scholarship in tuition fee can be availed by the state toppers of each board. Eligibility Criteria

The students require a minimum CGPA in the second & subsequent years and they should have cleared all the subjects of their respective semesters for the continuation of the Hon’ble Chancellor’s Scholarship as mentioned below.

Haryana Domicile Scholarship

SRM University, Sonepat, provides scholarships for Haryana Domicile candidates (25% of total seats) as per the Haryana State Private Universities Act, 2006 clause 35 & 36. 

Eligibility Criteria

Below mentioned are the citeria to avail this scholarship.

• Rank/performance in the National Level Entrance Examination, i.e. SRMHCAT only.
• The student must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria.
• Continuation of the SRM University Sonepat scholarship in the subsequent years will be based on minimal academic performance.

Domicile certificate submission is mandatory at the time of counselling/admission by the candidates applying under the category of Haryana Domicile. 

Students can avail the Haryana Domicile Scholarship for the second & subsequent years, only if the following conditions are fulfilled.

• A student must have cleared all the subjects of their respective semesters.
• A Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 7.5 and above is required to continue the scholarship

Chancellor's Sports Scholarship

SRM University, Sonepat has implemented a new scholarship scheme known as ‘Chancellor’s Sports Scholarship’ to encourage and support meritorious students. SRMUH gives importance to each student and believes in holistic learning and encourages students who excel in all spheres of youth life. Sport is an essential tool to stay fit, both physically and mentally and to support this thought, this scholarship is provided to motivate and inspire students to excel in sports.

How to avail the “Chancellor’s Sports Scholarships”

• Step-1 – To fill out the application form.
• Step-2 – A date will be fixed to consult with the Directorate of Physical Education & Sports, for the Sports Trial and the same will be communicated to you.
• Step-3 – The student's documents will be verified. Later, the student has to attend the “Physical & Skill Test”. The date for the same will be communicated to the students.
• Step-4 – A list of selected candidates will be announced by the University on the basis of the credential and fitness test.

Student Scholarship on the basis of CLAT Ranking

Scholarship for Diploma holders (Lateral entry) only

The scholarship policy is valid only for the academic year 2022-23. A student must have cleared all the subjects of their respective semesters. For Lateral Entry admission in B. Tech (Except for Specialization courses like IBM, TCS & Xebia) the eligibility criteria are as follows.

Eligibility Criteria

The students require a minimum CGPA of 7 and above for continuation of scholarship for the third & subsequent years. The scholarship will be discontinued, in case of a CGPA of less than 7.

SRM Group Alumni Scholarship (For Students continuing their study at SRM)

An alumnus of SRMUH or any of the SRM group of institutes who have graduated and wish to continue their journey of study at SRM University, Sonepat can benefit from this scholarship as follows.

• They will benefit from the same scholarship they were availing at their final year of undergraduate studies.
• In case, no scholarship was availed during the undergraduate studies, then a flat 25% scholarship on tuition fees can be granted.

Financial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defense/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents

SRM University, Sonepat has various programmes to provide financial assistance and encourage our dedicated soldiers in the Defense and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and their dependents.

Defence forces considered under the scheme: Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Indian Coast Guard, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Railway Protection Force (RPF), National Security Guards (NSG), Special Frontier Force (SFF), Assam Riffles, Border Road Organization, General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Military Engineers Service (MES), Defense Security Corps (DSC), Ordnance Factory Board.

• Financial Aid to Serving Defense Personnel and those who are nominated through study leave.
