SIMC Pune also provides admission to part-time certificate programs in Sound Engineering and Video Editing. The duration of each of these courses is three months. Moreover, they must make sure to upload all the necessary documents along with the application.

Steps to Apply for SIMC Pune Admission

Candidates must follow the steps given below to apply conveniently for Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication admission:

  • Step 1: First, candidates should register for SNAP through the official website: snaptest.org, to apply for the MBA (CM) program.
  • Step 2: They must pay a fee of INR 1950 for SNAP registration. They shall then receive a SNAP ID and password.
  • Step 3: After registering and making the fee payment for SNAP, candidates will be able to locate the tab for SIMC-MBA(CM) registration. 
  • Step 4: For MA (MC) and certificate courses, candidates can apply directly through the SIMC Pune official portal: simc.edu.
  • Step 5: Candidates must fill out the application forms for respective courses by providing personal details, family details, educational qualifications, experience details, etc.
  • Step 6: Necessary documents like passport-size photographs, photo ID proof, and mark sheets must be attached to the application form.
  • Step 7: Candidates must pay INR 1000 to register successfully for the MBA (CM) course. A fee of INR 1950 must be paid for the MA (MC) program through the Billdesk payment gateway. For the certificate program, a payment of INR 500 must be made via the Easebuzz payment gateway.
  • Step 8: Finally, candidates can take the printout of the form for future purposes.

Note: It is possible to apply for any one SIMC certificate course at a time.

SIMC Pune Selection Process

The selection process for Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication admission varies from one course to another. Majorly, candidates need to first clear the entrance exam and then appear for the second phase, which consists of three major components: Written Ability Test, Group Exercise, and Personal Interview.

In the Group Exercise, candidates are evaluated on their team management, time management, and problem-solving skills. The Written Ability Test is designed to gauge the creativity and analytical abilities of the candidates. In the Personal Interaction round, candidates are assessed for their interpersonal skills, communication skills, and academic performance.
