The University Institute of Engineering & Technology was founded in the year 2005. In a short span of time UIET has become the preferred destination for B.Tech students because of its infrastructure and excellent faculty compared with other colleges in that region. The main aim of UIET is to provide quality and technical education in Engineering & Technology. The university is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The institution is recognized by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade and it is also approved by AICTE.

The institution offers six B.Tech programs for 4 years duration in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering, and Biotechnology.

University Institute of Engineering & Technology aims to provide quality technical education in Engineering & Technology, so they have become a preferred destination for B.Tech students within a few years of time. UIET has approximately 18000 sq. meters space costing around INR 32 crores. Here are a few key highlights of UIET:

M.Tech program is for 2 years duration in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Software Engineering. The UIET Admission is based on the entrance exam conducted by Maharshi Dayanand University and through JEE mains. The eligibility for B.Tech is to pass in (10+2) in PCMB/C and for M.Tech the admissions are based on marks scored in the GATE exam or entrance exam conducted by UIET. The admission is based on the UIET Cut Off.

In order to reach the requirements of the industries, the institution keeps on reviewing and revising the syllabus for B.Tech at regular intervals. Due to challenges in the competitive world UIET arranges regular Seminars, Workshops, Group Discussions, Extension Lectures by well-known lecturers from inside and outside the campus to make students know about the challenges in this competitive world.

With the changing time, the institution has been acquiring the latest technologies for improving the quality of facilities in teaching their students. The institute has the largest workshop building in Haryana which is 1500 sq.mts. The Institution has modern teaching aids and facilities for improving the quality of education and skill development for their students.

UIET B.Tech:

UIET wants to meet the requirements of the industries, the institute keeps on changing the syllabus of the B.Tech program to make the students reach the expectations of the companies in this challenging and competitive world. It also arranges regular Seminars, Workshops, Group Discussions, Extension Lectures with well-known faculty from inside or outside the college to make students know more in technical skills.

UIET M.Tech:

UIET provides Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, and Software Engineering courses for the M.Tech program. The institution has the latest experimental and computational facilities for taking Research & Development and consultancy activities for their students, the Department has introduced a credit-based postgraduate program leading to M.Tech. in Computer Engineering in the year 2009.

University Institute of Engineering & Technology Fees:

UIET offers B.Tech and M.Tech in their college, each course has a different fee structure. The UIET fee structure is mentioned below:

• The annual tuition fee structure for B.Tech (2019-20) INR  27,500 per annum.
• For M.Tech (2019-20) tuition fee structure is INR 30,800 per annum.

UIET offers B.Tech and M.Tech courses in their college. The eligibility criteria is mentioned below:

University Institute of Engineering and Technology Admission:

Eligible candidates can apply online on the college website. For the B.Tech program, admission is based on the performance in the National Exam conducted by AIEEE and State Level Online Off-Campus counseling by HSCS. Whereas, for M.Tech program score in the GATE/ Entrance Test conducted by UIET is considered.

The UIET Facilities include Canteen, Library, Auditorium, etc. and they have 10  hostel blocks in which 5 are for boys and girls each
