The admission process for B.Tech at Delhi University is as follows:

Step 1: JEE Main Qualification + Eligibility

• Admission to B.Tech at DU (Faculty of Technology) is based on JEE Main Paper-I rank.

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English; for UR, 60% in PCM is required. 

Step 2: Fill DU B.Tech Application Online

• Go to the DU B.Tech portal: engineering.uod.ac.in during the registration window. 

• Fill in your JEE Main 2026 application number, personal and academic details, and upload marksheets and category certificates. 

• Pay the non-refundable application (registration)-cum-allocation fee: ₹1,500 for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS, ₹1,200 for SC/ST/PwBD.

Step 3: Seat Allotment via DU CSAS / B.Tech Counselling

• DU uses its own seat allocation for B.Tech, based on the JEE Main Common Rank List (CRL) plus category and seat availability. 

• After registration, candidates take part in multiple rounds of seat allotment where they select their preferred branches (CSE, ECE, EE) and colleges. 

Step 4: Accept Seat & Pay Admission Fee

• Once a seat is allotted, log into the DU portal to accept the seat. 

• Pay the admission fee online within the deadline for that round to confirm admission. 

Step 5: Document Verification & College Admission

• Report to the allotted college (Faculty of Technology) for physical verification of original documents: Class 12 marksheet, JEE Main scorecard, identity proof, category certificate (if applicable).
