Placements & Internships : University Visveswarayya college of engineering college has good placements, in the year of 2015-2016 alone the students were appointed in more than 1000 companies. Every year more than 300 companies will come to the college for placements and more than 86.16% of students will have their offer letter. The average salary they pay to students is INR 4 Lakhs P.A (MASS COMPANIES) and the highest salary is INR 12 Lakhs P.A (GOLDEN DREAM COMPANIES).

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria to join UVCE (University visveswarayya college of engineering) is students have to write an entrance exam like D.C.E.T (Diploma), C.E.T (PUC). To join UVCE the students should have the rank within 1000 in the competative exam.There is no rule that only Karnataka Students can join this college, other state students can also join by writing the entrance exam.The typical cutoff for UVCE is 1100. Once the students get passed in the competitive exam they will have to select UVCE college in their respective C.E.T accounts. Based on the ranks and other categories like physically challenged students, NCC, 371(G) Cast students will be allotted to accordingly.

Fees & Scholarships : The students have to pay 7840Rs(per year)including all the charges and 18010Rs(per year) for Karnataka C.E.T(i.e K.C.E.T). The common scholarship that all students get every year is VIDHYA SIRI for fee concision apart from food and accommodation UVCE college is providing two Scholarships called VISION UVCE & UVCE FOUNDATION for backward and poor students for their education. If any of the students need the education loan then it can be availed from any of the Nationalized Banks such as SBI, SBH, CANARA, CORPORATION etc.

Academics & Faculty : The Quality of teaching in UVCE college is very good and they also have a good number of Faculty. Apart from teaching, classes and labs, UVCE conducts many workshops such as FEDORA VERSION, RED-HAT, ANDROID etc for students for their better improvements. Comparing to other college UVCE students have much freedom to explore and show case their knowledge, the overall Experience in college is very good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Two hostels are there for students one is for boys and another is for girls and the hostels are good. The fee for the hostel per month is calculated based on the cost spent for the food and maintenance and then divided among the number of students and pay accordingly. UVCE has a good quality of classrooms, labs and a library, and other key infrastructure such as CYBER (called minchu), UVCE wi-fi facility, hall for students to study.

Clubs & Associations : UVCE has 4 main festivals every year which are two tech fests i.e, FEISTA & IMPITUS and two cultural fests i.e, MILAGRO & INSPIRON. There is an association called UVCE alumni for passed out students so they can keep in touch with the college. The overall life in UVCE in very good students have more freedom rather than putting them on restrictions, and help students have a chance to bring out their ideas and explore them.
