Fees & Scholarships : The course fee for bachelors is approx Rs 34000-35000 per year. Hostel and mess facility is available.  Scholarships are offered by the government for reservation criteria. Also the college offers scholarships to students with good merit every year.  One student from each year(first, second, third years), who has scored good marks gets the scholarship. Government scholarships are available to all students irrespective of their scores. I don't think loans are needed. The system of paying fees is very flexible.

Academics & Faculty : The class timings are 9:30am to 1:00pm (lectures), and 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm (practicals). These are for six days in a week, that is from Monday to Saturday. We have weekly assignments on the syllabus being taught during the week. We also have weekly class tests. Projects are for seniors- third year bachelors and secong year masters. The teaching quality is very good. All teachers go out of their way to explain everything properly untill each student of the class has understood the concept. The overall experience is quite good. We get a lot of exposure and hand-on practical experience, also we get to use the highly sophisticated and standard equipments, thus making us experts at using them.

Placements & Internships : I had the opportunity to do a project with VHL,Netherlands, which is collaborated with our college, during the last summer vacation. It was related to food spoiling pathogens. We also developed a website of the same data that we got from our lab work. I got a stipend for the project, duration- 2 months. We also got the opportunity to preset our work in front of Agriculture Minister of Netherlands. The placements are also great. Huge biotech companies like SERUM come for campus interviews and hire students.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is one girls hostel and one boys hostel with mess facility in both. I don't know much about the hostel price because I am a localite. I do know the mess fees, it is Rs 19,500 per year.  The infrastructure is superb. It is 3 floored building. Fully air conditioned labs with all the biotech related instruments (latest) at the base level. Wifi facilty at each floor. The second floor has classrooms, while the Third floor is dedicated to research (virology). The library is well furnished and is full with all sorts of books of all editions. We have the best book collection.

Clubs & Associations : The main festival is Gene-Ger, which lasts for 8 days. Its complete fun. We have all sorts of days- like traditional, chocolate, mismatch days etc. We also have dandiya night, dj night, cultural night where food is also provided. This festival is completely organised by the students. So everyone gets to be a part of it and give their ideas and opinions during arranging it.  The college life is good. All the students have their mind set for research. So a lot academic air.
