The library subscribes to host of on line IEEE and ASME journals which fosters research zeal, among both the faculty and students.

The digital library with high speed internet connection and access to on-line Journals is a shot in the arm for the students preparing for competitive exams like GATE, GRE, CAT and TOEFL besides collecting and compiling material for paper presentation, seminar etc. The Surveillance system with its randomly timed video footing helps to control pilferage of library resources.

Transport Facilities

Vignan nirula has a fleet of 8 buses, operating along six routes around Guntur with a total seating capacity of 700 students. Besides providing the bus service, the institute maintains a pool of two cars for meeting the transport requirements of the senior faculty. An emergency vehicle is available round the clock.

Hostel

The College offers a wide range of accommodation that is conveniently located on campus. With more than 800 beds available for girls, there is something to suit everyone. Each accommodation facility has its own management team to take care of your welfare. It is also attended by a doctor and a nurse. It has facilities for first aid and minor ailments. Ambulance facilities are available round the clock.

Seminar Halls

Any engineering student needs to participate in interactive sessions, debates and presentations continuously.  Seminar Hall is a place where most of the academic activities happen.  VNITSW has well equipped Air Conditioned seminar hall which can accommodate 250 members.  It is a centre for knowledge acquisition since right ambiance is created with a podium, a computer system with internet facility, an LCD projector, a sound system and speakers.  It attracts students to flock together to share, discuss and explore knowledge in their areas of learning.

Class Rooms

The classrooms architecturally designed with optimal room for natural light and air. They provide a vibrant backdrop to the academic achievements and offer a unique place to study, relax and develop.  The classrooms are equipped with an array of hi-tech equipment which enables the competent teachers to conduct classes in such a manner that the students can make use of all the available resources at the click of a button. In this very special learning environment, LCD projectors, video players [for language labs] are available. All these facilities enable the teachers to teach in a unique and innovative manner which makes the students feel involved in the teaching - learning process and improves the pace and quality of learning.

Laboratories

State-of-the-art laboratories are the back bone of any engineering college. Practical exposure brings real value to engineering degree.  VNITSW has all the laboratories with the latest equipment.  Apart from labs prescribed for study, there are special laboratories which train students in the latest technologies.  ‘Assistive Technology Lab’, ‘Project Lab’, ‘IBM - Centre of Excellence’, Texas Instruments Lab’ are some of them.  There are multimedia English Language Labs with all the sophisticated equipment, especially to train students in communicative aspects of English.
