The waitlist for the following courses will be announced on 8th May, 2025 at 4:00 pm: Event Planning & Experiential Marketing, Mass Communication & Digital Media, Journalism & Media Convergence, Film, Television & Digital Media. Additionally, the waitlist for Advertising, Marketing Communications & Customer Analytics, and Public Relations & Corporate Communication will be announced on 10th May, 2025 at 4:00 pm. Selected candidates for these courses will receive an email regarding the further admission process on 25th April, 2025 after 4:00 pm. Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai was established in 1969. Institute is a curricula unit of St. Xavier’s College, Autonomous. It is a professional media centre that offers a variety of services in training and production. XIC ranks among the biggest non-government media centres in Asia. XIC was initiated in 1969 by The Catholic Bishops' Conference of India to develop scholarship and professionalism in the media. It is presently managed by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) of the Bombay Province.

As a qualifier for admissions in all the courses, candidates should not be more than 35 years in age. Additionally, admissions to all the courses are finalized based on a valid XIC Online Entrance Test (XIC OET) followed by a personal/ Skype interview round.
