Instructions for IELTS Exam Centres
To avoid any unforeseen circumstances in test centres, the candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the test day instructions. IELTS is one the exams to pursue higher education abroad.
- The candidate should bring his Passport/ National Identity Card that was used on the IELTS application form.
- The candidate can bring pencils, pens and erasers to the exam.
- The candidate can bring a drink in a transparent bottle. No food is allowed inside the test centre.
- The candidates need to turn off their mobiles and pagers and store them away, along with personal belongings in the area designated by the exam centre supervisor.
Special Requirements in IELTS Exam Centres
In the case of IELTS test takers with special needs, the test centres are ready to provide extra facilities to make the test more comfortable. The candidate who is in need of these special requirements should give notice three months prior to the test.
If the candidate needs extended time for taking the test due to special requirements then they should give notice six weeks prior to the test. Can I Change IELTS Test Centre?
The request for changing of test centre for the IELTS test can be made by sending an email at ielts.india@idp.com. In case, the request is accepted, the authorities will send an acknowledgment mail to the candidate confirming the changed venue, date, and time. However, the request must be made at least five weeks before taking the test.
