KU PGCET 2023 Eligibility
Before applying and appearing for the KU PGCET exam, candidates must check the eligibility criteria which is prescribed by the conducting authority. In case a candidate fails to meet the criteria mentioned below, they will be rejected for the admission process.

Nationality
Candidates should be an Indian national. They should belong to Telangana state only and should satisfy the local and Non-local requirements as laid down by the Telangana State Education Institution.
Educational Qualification
Students who have passed or appeared for the final year intermediate examination of 2023 are eligible for 5 years of integrated M.Sc course. Students belonging to the general category must have secured marks ranking between 45-50% and reserved category candidates should have secured 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
Age Limit
There are no age restrictions to be eligible for the KU PGCET exam.
KU PGCET 2023 Reservation
The reservation criteria for KU PGCET 2023 are listed below.
- There is a reservation for female candidates, local candidates, candidates belonging to reserved categories, and other backward classes.
- The students belonging to the districts of Khammam, Adilabad, Hyderabad (including twin cities), Karimnagar, Mahaboobnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Ranga Reddy, and Warangal are considered to be Local candidates and will fall under the 'A' Local area candidates who shall have 85% available seats in their favour and candidates outside of these mentioned districts will fall under 'B' Local candidates who shall claim the remaining 15% of the available seats.
- The 15% seats, however, will be filled by both local and non-local candidates. For the female candidates, 33.33% of seats will be reserved in each course or subject. The ST and SC will have 15% and 7.5% seats reserved for each course or subject respectively. Additionally, the Physically challenged and backward classes will also have a reservation.

KU PGCET 2023 Exam Centre
KU PGCET 2023 will be held across Warangal or Karimnagar centres. Candidates must choose their convenient exam centres at the time of filling the application form. Exam centres are liable to be changed by the university in case there is insufficient or less than 100 candidates for a specific centre.
For 5 years of integrated M.Sc program, the exam centres will be located at Warangal only. There will no entrance test conducted for M.A. (Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu), M.Sc (Food Science and Technology) and M.Sc, MIT programs.

KU PGCET 2023 Counselling
KU PGCET counselling will be conducted in three rounds. Candidates who have successfully qualified the entrance test are eligible to attend the counselling. The first round of counselling will commence after the results are announced. Aspirants must follow the below instructions on the day of counselling.
- All candidates must bring the Transfer Certificate on the centre on the day of counselling for verification. One set of copies of the same has to be submitted at the counselling venue.
- The counselling fees has to be remitted on the day of counselling to get the admission form and admit card for the counselling.
