• PSTET 2024 offers two papers catering to different teaching levels - Paper 1 for classes I to V and Paper 2 for classes VI to VIII.
• The exam format includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four answer options, requiring candidates to mark their responses on an OMR sheet.
• PSTET maintains a uniform marking scheme, where each question carries one mark, and there is no provision for negative marking.
• Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 are scored out of 150 marks, with each paper having a duration of 150 minutes. Paper content and difficulty levels differ.
• Candidates successfully passing the PSTET exam and document verification receive a PSTET certificate valid for seven years, enabling applications for teaching positions within the Punjab School Education Board.
