PSTET Exam Qualification

- Or, the aspirants have 50% marks in their senior secondary or equivalent level and have passed or are appearing for the final exam for a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Or, the candidates have a graduation degree or are appearing for the final exam and have passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Or, the candidates have a 50% mark in graduation degree or are appearing for the final exam and have passed a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special).
PSTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper 2

- Candidates having a graduation degree and have passed or are appearing for the final exam of the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Or, aspirants have scored 45% marks in graduation and have passed or are in the final year of a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree recognised by NCTE.
- Or, the candidates have obtained 50% marks in senior secondary or equivalent level and have or are in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Or, the aspirants possess 50% marks in senior secondary or equivalent level and have or are in the final year of a 4-year degree in B.A. Ed/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A/ B.Sc.Ed.
- Or, aspirants have scored 50% marks in their class 12 or equivalent and have or are appearing for a 1-year B.Ed degree (Special Education).
PSTET Age Limit
The PSTET age limit is yet another vital aspect of the exam. Candidates must be aware of the age limit along with the other PSTET eligibility criteria 2024. The PSEB has set no upper PSTET exam age limit for the candidates.
However, for the lower age limit, candidates must be 18 years old to apply for the PSTET 2024 exam.

PSTET Exam Eligibility: Work Experience
