SLETNE stands for North East State Level Eligibility Test. This entrance exam is conducted to offer admission to candidates willing to become a lecturer in the northeast regions like Manipur, Mizoram, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Tripura.
