SMAT 2023 exam is being administered in stages by IISM. Because the SMAT exam 2023 is proctored online, students can take it from the comfort of their own homes.

SMAT 2023 question paper will be divided into five areas, according to the syllabus: Quantitative Analysis, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability (verbal reasoning and reading comprehension), and Sports Awareness. Sports Management Admission Test will last 80 minutes, and students must answer 80 questions.

SMAT 2023 Result

SMAT 2023 results can be found on the International Institute of Sports Management's (IISM) official website on Jul 20, 2023. SMAT result is made available in two stages. The first stage result contains the SMAT score, and the second stage result includes the ultimate merit list for admission based on the candidates' PI performance.

SMAT is held in phases, and the results are also announced in phases. Candidates may take the exam at any time. 

SMAT IISM Admission Process 2023

The Sports Management Admission Test process is as follows:

Step 1: SMAT 2023 Registration

The candidate will first have to register on the official website of the International Institute of Sports Management to apply for SMAT. The candidate must find a link to ‘Register Now’ on the website. On visiting the registration page, the candidate will have to enter the following details:

• When a candidate registers, they will receive an email verifying their registration.
• After the formalities are done, the candidate must proceed to the next stage of the process: filling out the IISM SMAT 2023 application form.

Step 2: Fill out the SMAT Application Form 2023

The candidate can then login and fill out the IISM SMAT 2023 application form with the necessary information. Before applying, candidates should review the eligibility requirements. The candidate must upload the necessary documents to the SMAT application form.

The candidate must pay the application cost after completing all the requirements. After completing the formalities, the candidate will be given an application number to utilize for future references.

Step 3: Submit Essay/Caselet

Before taking the IISM Sports Management Admission Test (SMAT), the candidate will get a topic through email and have two days to write the essay/case. For Bachelor's degrees, candidates must submit an essay before taking the entrance exam. In contrast, students applying for Masters' or PGD degrees must take a Caselet exam, in which they must attempt four topics worth 20 points each and submit the Caselet within two days.

Step 4: Appear for SMAT 2023

After submitting the Essay/Caselet, the candidate must take the Sports Management Admission Test 2023 from home using their Laptop/PC with their camera and microphone switched on. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Before taking the entrance exam, candidates should review the new exam structure and scoring scheme. 

Step 5: SMAT 2023 Result Stage 1

Candidates who pass the first step, including the Essay/Caselet and performance in the Sports Management Admission Test (SMAT 2023), will be shortlisted and nervous about the Personal Interview (PI) round. 

Step 6: Online Personal Interview Round

Shortlisted candidates will be terrified by the online Personal Interview, in which a panel will ask the candidate about his management and sports knowledge.

Step 7: SMAT 2023 Result Stage 2

Candidates who pass IISM SMAT 2023 Stages 1 and 2 with a cumulative 60% will be granted an offer letter, which they must download before paying the admission fees by the deadline.

SMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

The Bachelor of Sports Management (BSM) program lasts three years, and the Masters of Sports Management (MSM) program lasts two years. Both programs are affiliated with the University of Mumbai. The Post Graduate Programme in Sports Management (PGPSM) and Post Graduate Programme in Sports Event Management (PGPSEM) last 11 months and are available in Mumbai at the IISM Campus, Fleet House, Marol.

Candidates who intend to take the SMAT must meet the eligibility requirements. Officials will reject application forms that do not meet the eligibility conditions. 

Admission through SMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

• Open Division: For applicants in the Open category, the minimum needed aggregate score at the HSC and graduation level (Bachelor's degree) is 50%.
• Reserved Category: The minimum needed aggregate score at the HSC and graduation level (Bachelor's degree) is 45 percent for applicants from the Reserved category. 

SMAT Eligibility for MAH CET 2023 Admission:

Postgraduate applicants may also apply using their MAH-CET 2023 scores.

• Open Division: The recommended minimum MAH CET percentile is 50.
• Category Reserved: The recommended minimum MAH CET percentile is 45.

SMAT Selection Criteria 2023

• Aspirants with MAH-MBA / MMS CET - Master of Sports Management and PGP in Sports and Wellness Management can apply with their MAH-CET marks and receive a waiver from the SMAT 2023 Exam.
