TISSNET exam date 2024 will be based on CUET PG and CAT 2023 scores. The TISS National Entrance Test (TISSNET) at Mumbai's Tata Institute of Social Sciences has been cancelled for the academic year 2024-25. Admission to all postgraduate courses will be based on CUET PG 2024 rather than TISSNET, with the exception of two, which will be based on the national-level management entrance test CAT 2023.
This decision was taken in accordance with Ministry of Education and University Grants Commission directives, which require the use of CUET for postgraduate program admissions in central, state, and other participating universities.
CUET offers a single opportunity to all students seeking admission to any of the Central Universities (CUs) and other collaborating entities around the country, including State Universities, Deemed to be Universities, and Private Universities. As a result, the institution decided to discontinue TISSNET 2024.
TISSNET Cancelled 2024
The Tata Institute of Social Science has cancelled TISSNET 2024 for the forthcoming session. According to a notice issued by the college on admissions.tiss.edu, the TISSNET Exam will be replaced by the CUET PG 2024 and CAT 2024 Exams beginning this year. Admission to MA degrees and MBA programs will now be determined by success in these tests.

TISSNET Interview Dates 2024
The candidates shortlisted for TISSNET 2024 interview rounds will be called by the authorities. The interview rounds will have a pre-interview/ group discussion and PI ( personal interview) rounds. The candidates must clear both to be eligible for admission. The GD and PI will test the candidate's knowledge of the subject they have chosen.
