TISSNET Eligibility Criteria 2023 - Bachelor's Programs
TISSNET Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed class 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized state/ central board syllabus. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 grade and are waiting for their results can also apply for the exam.
Age Limit for TISSNET: A candidate's age should be less than 23 years as of 05th May 2023. If they are older than 23 years, they cannot apply for the TISSNET.
Diploma Candidate: Candidates who have completed their International Baccalaureate Diploma can also apply for TISSNET 2023.

TISSNET Eligibility Criteria 2023 - Master's Programs
Educational Qualification: Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in any stream can apply for the master's program.
Final Year Candidate: Candidates in their bachelor's degree can also apply for the TISSNET 2023 exam. Final year candidates must clear their degree before the counselling begins. At the time of counselling, a candidate has to show a degree.
Age Limit: For master's degree programs, the TISSNET exam authorities have not specified any age limit.
TISSNET Eligibility Criteria 2023 - M.Phil & Ph.D.
Educational Qualification: Candidates willing to apply for the integrated M.Phil & Ph.D. programs should have a master's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject from any affiliated or recognized university.
Percentage Criteria: Candidate must have 55% aggregate or 3.5-grade points under 7 pointer scale from any affiliated university. SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates should have 50% aggregate marks or 3.05-grade points under 7 pointer scale from any affiliated university.
Work Experience: A minimum of five years of post-graduation work experience is required to apply for the direct Ph.D. program.

TISSNET 2023 MBA Eligibility Criteria For International Students
The candidates who are not Indian nationals or permanent residents of India are eligible in this category. The foreign nationals, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders, an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI-Dual citizens), and Non- Residents Indian nationals (NRIs). The eligibility criteria for these students are as given below.
- The international candidates can apply for not more than two programs and must fulfill the general eligibility of the programs they are applying to.
- The candidates from foreign universities or boards of Higher Education equivalent to the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) are eligible.
- For M.A Human Resource Management and Labour Studies Program (HRM), candidates must have qualified a GMAT score of 610 and above. Candidates must submit the scores within the stipulated time frame.
- Candidates with a B.A. degree from a university located in a non- English speaking country must submit proof of English proficiency.
- Candidates must submit either IELTS or TOEFL scores.
TISSNET 2023 Reservation Policy
The Indian government has set some reservation policies for the TISSNET varying for different TISS campuses. Find below the policies for TISSNET reservation 2023.

Seats for the Kashmir migrants are reserved as per GOL Directives. In addition, 5% is reserved for Armed Forces (Supernumerary quota), widows/children of armed/paramilitary personnel, killed/disabled during the hostilities priority given below.
- Priority I - Widows/ Wards of paramilitary/ personnel killed in action. Certificate required as proof in original.
- Priority VII - Widows/ wards of defense/ paramilitary personnel disabled during military services. Provide an original certificate of disability stating that the disability is due to military services.
- Priority III - Widows/wards of paramilitary/ defense personnel who died during military services. Original death certificate stating that the cause of death is due to military services.
- Priority IV - Wards of disabled paramilitary/ defense personnel during military services. They must provide the original disability certificate stating that the disability is due to military service.
- Priority V - Wards of ex-servicemen police personnel/ paramilitary and serving defense personnel recipients of Gallantry Awards. Original certificate as proof to be provided.
- Priority VI - The wards of ex-servicemen of defense. Original certificate as proof to be provided.
- Priority VII - The wards of defense serving personnel. Original certificate of service identity cards and dependent certificate/ card.
Factors Determining TISSNET Eligibility 2023
The authorities have laid down the factors that determine the eligibility of the candidates to fill the TISSNET application. Find below the factors determining the TISSNET eligibility 2023.
- The candidates’ bachelor’s degree with the ‘Pass Class' indicated in it will determine their eligibility.
- To be eligible to apply for the TISSNET 2023, candidates must have cleared all the courses (main, major, or substitute) of their first and second year if they are currently in the 3rd or 4th year of graduation.
- Candidates who must have 15 years of formal education in either 10+2+2+1 bridge course pattern or any other pattern from a recognized institute or university are eligible.
- The candidates fulfilling the requirements of their final year bachelors’ degree exam by 2023 will be eligible to apply for all the TISS courses.
- If the information provided by the candidates in the application forms is found misleading or incorrect, it will lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
- The candidates who fail in the final year of their bachelor’s degree will not be eligible to take the TISSNET exam.
- The candidates holding the provisional admission must also pass their final year. If they fail in the final year exam, admission will be canceled.
- All the candidates must produce all the documents in original like mark sheets and other certificates at the time of interview.
