TS LAWCET exam pattern 2024 is set by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. It is conducted for candidates who opt for admission into different law colleges in Telangana. It aims to evaluate the candidate’s ability and aptitude to pursue the study of Law in LLB or BA LLB.

TS LAWCET Exam Pattern 2024 Highlights
The TS LAWCET will be conducted online mode. The test will have a total of 120 questions holding 120 marks. It is divided into 3 parts, and the duration is 90 minutes. The question paper will be objective-based. The table below are the exam pattern highlights of TS LAWCET 2024.

TS LAWCET 2024: Marks Distribution
The TS LAWCET is the entrance exam that must be taken by candidates who wish to enroll for either the 3-year or 5-year Law course. Both papers contain the same sections but the difficulty level differs. Given in the table below are the subject-wise TS LAWCET marks distribution for the exam.

TS LAWCET 2024: Exam Mode
The TS LAWCET 2024 is a Computer-based test. Every candidate is assigned a specific computer at the TS LAWCET test centre. It is advised that candidates practice through an ‘Online Test Series’. This will help them get a better understanding and feel of how the actual exam would be.
TS LAWCET 2024: Exam Duration
Given below are the instructions based on the TS LAWCET 2024 exam duration applicable to all candidates.
- The TS LAWCET exam duration is 1 hour 30 minutes.
- Candidates must finish the exam within the allotted period.
- No extra time will be given to candidates.
- For PwD and SAP candidates, an extra 20 minutes will be given to finish the exam.
- There is no section-based time limit.
TS LAWCET 2024: Types of Question

- Questions will be in a multiple-choice format.
- There will be four choices for each question.
- Candidates must mark the most appropriate answers.
- There will be an essay-based question that will be descriptive.

- The TS LAWCET 2024 will be administered in Telugu and English.
- This year, candidates will be able to attempt the paper in Hindi as well.

TS LAWCET 2024 Marking Scheme

- Every question holds 1 mark.
- For every right answer, candidates will be awarded 1 mark.
- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- Unattempted questions will not be negatively marked.
- If a candidate were to mark 2 answers for a question, even if one of them is right, the question will be marked as wrong.

TS LAWCET 2024: Qualifying Marks
Provided below are the minimum marks that candidates must earn to pass the TS LAWCET 2024.
- Students must earn at least 35% to qualify for the TS LAWCET 2024 (i.e. 42 out of 120 marks)
- There are no such criteria for SC/ST candidates
