Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) is conducted by the Department of School Education, Telangana, to ensure the teachers are qualified to teach at Government or Private schools. TS TET Cut Off 2024

About TS TET
Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the Department of School Education, Telangana for individuals who wish to be teachers. This test was first conducted in 2017 to make sure that the teachers teaching in any school government or private are of quality. This is a state-level exam conducted in the online mode for 2 hours 30 mins wherein a candidate has to solve 150 MCQ questions.

TS TET 2024 Admit Card
TS TET 2024 admit Card was been made available for download from May 16, 2024. Candidates are supposed to download the admit card on the official website by logging in using the credentials such as registration number, email ID, phone number, and password that the candidate has decided.
TS TET admit card must be downloaded and printed out. The TET 2024 hall ticket download PDF must be carried along with the candidate to the exam hall along with a government ID proof like an Aadhaar card, Passport, or Voter's ID. TS TET Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility criteria for TS TET have been updated according to the guidelines issued by the National Council for Teacher Education on Mar 24, 2022. Candidates must go through these eligibility criteria before they fill out the application form. A candidate must be eligible to write the exam; otherwise, the results will not hold good even if they qualify for the exam.
The eligibility criteria are different for both the papers and a candidate must be eligible for the respective paper they choose to write. If a candidate wants to appear for both papers they must be eligible for both separately. The prescribed criteria are given below for both papers.
Amendments Made in TS TET Eligibility Criteria
The candidates with graduated with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ BC differently-abled) and passed in bachelor of education/ bachelor of education (special education) have also been given eligibility.
A person who has qualified as a Bachelor of Education from any NCTE-recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six-month bridge course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.
Paper 1 for Standard 1 to 5
The eligibility criteria for attending paper 1 of TS TET 2024 are as follows.
- Candidate must have cleared intermediate or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. In the case of SC/ST/ OBC and Differently-abled, the candidate must have a minimum of 45% marks. The candidate must also have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Paper 2 for Standard 6 to 8
The applicants must fulfil the following eligibility criteria to attend the paper 2 exams of TS TET 2024.
- Candidate must have passed B.A/ B.Sc./B.Com with a minimum of 50% marks and in the case of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled, the candidate must have passed B.A/B.Sc./B.Com with at least 45% marks. The candidate must also have a degree in Bachelor of Education (B.ed) course.

- Candidate must have passed B.A/ B.Sc./B.Com with a minimum of 50% marks and in the case of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled the candidate must have passed B.A/B.Sc./B.Com with at least 45% marks along with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed-Special Education).

TS TET Application Form 2024
TS TET application form 2024 has closed for submission on Mar 27, 2024. The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana State, had released two different links for registration, one for application fee payment and one for filling out the TS TET application 2024.
The candidate had to register by going to the official website. The candidate must have a valid and unique email ID and phone number. The candidate must have a scanned photo and signature with a white background in JPEG or JPG size, and the face must be shown clearly.
The candidate must also have all the necessary documents scanned to upload if required. The candidate must be careful about submitting the application form as the details cannot be changed later. After submitting, the candidate must pay an amount towards TS TET registration, after which the application form will be submitted.

TS TET Exam Pattern 2024
The exam pattern is decided by the Department of School Education, Telangana for the Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a 2 hours 30 minutes long exam in which 150 MCQs will be asked. Each question will have four options and out of these four, one will be the right answer. The candidate must attempt all questions as all are compulsory and no choice will be given. There are no negative markings and the test is in the offline mode. The candidate must colour the circle of the answer they believe to be true on the OMR sheet.
