The Government of India conducts several M.Ed scholarships for aspiring teachers who cannot continue their journey in the field of education because of financial constraints. The M.Ed degree course includes studying new teaching and educational research, and there are many scholarships for M.Ed students focused on education, including instructions, career counseling, curriculums, educational technology, etc. The eligible candidates must submit their application forms within the stipulated time frame. Post-Matric Scholarship for Students Of Minority Communities
The Post-matric scholarships scheme for minorities is an initiative for students in class 11 to Ph.D. who come under minorities category. The primary aim of the scholarship is to encourage meritorious students of economically weaker sections of society to pursue higher education and enhance their employability in academic and professional courses like M.Ed. Upto INR 3,000 per annum is granted to the undergraduate and postgraduate students (both hostellers and day scholars) which includes their admission and tuition fees.

Post-Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
The post-matric scholarship for students with disabilities is a very beneficial scholarship run by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, government of India, for M.Ed students. The main objective of this scholarship is to help students who are undergoing hardships because of disabilities. The graduate and postgraduate degrees affiliated by UGC/AICTE come under this M.Ed scholarship scheme. Upto INR 4,000 funding is offered to the students with disabilities as basic allowances.

Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students
The primary focus of the Central sector scheme of scholarship is to give financial aid to meritorious students from economically backward families to overcome their daily expenses while pursuing higher studies. It is financed by the Department of Higher Education of MHRD. Under this M.Ed scholarship scheme, INR 20,000 is granted to students studying at the post-graduation level.

Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child scholarship
The Indira Gandhi Single Girl child scholarships for P.G. programs are provided by the University Grants Commission (UGC). This scholarship program is for academically exceptional single girl students who intend to aspire higher and complete their education. The M.Ed scholarship amount granted for this scheme is INR 36,200 per year to the deserving applicants. The M.Ed scholarship online form can be availed at National Scholarship Portal.

Post Graduate Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC/ST
The postgraduate scholarship for professional courses for SC/ST is the opportunity for deserving candidates belonging to SC/ST category to undertake postgraduate level studies. The M.Ed scholarship scheme's main objective is to provide financial assistance to 1,000 SC/ST candidates to pursue studies in well-known institutions. In order to get qualified for the M.Ed scholarship eligibility, the candidate should pursue professional courses (except distance learning) like M.E., MTech, M.Ed, etc. The tenure of the award is for two/three years, depending upon postgraduate courses. The M.Ed scholarship amount will be paid INR 4,500 per month to the eligible students. Only students pursuing the first year of postgraduate course during the current academic year are eligible to apply.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship
The Swami Vivekananda scholarship scheme, conducted by the Minorities Development and Finance Corporation of West Bengal, is available for deserving students with poor financial backgrounds aspiring to pursue higher studies. The students pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, MPhil, and doctoral level courses can apply for the M.ed scholarships incorporated under the Swami Vivekananda scholarship program. Rewards up to INR 8,000 are granted to the eligible candidates.

The Gandhi Fellowship
The Gandhi fellowship was launched by the Piramal School of Leadership (PSL) and the Kaivalya Education Foundation (KEF). This M.ed scholarship scheme is a 2-year residential fellowship program in transformation leadership that helps talented young people learn all the necessary soft skills that help them become great leaders. The main objective of the Gandhi fellowship is to inspire self-motivated youth across the country to follow an innovative and experiential path to overcome hurdles and excel in their lives. The eligible candidates for this M.Ed scholarship scheme include graduate and postgraduate candidates from any of the diverse streams like Engineering, Applied and Pure Science, Commerce, Management, Humanities, and Liberal Arts, Social Work, Psychology and Behavioural Science, Mathematics, Journalism and Mass Communication, Education, Law, etc.
The rewards under this program cover a stipend of INR 14,000 (taxable), a fixed monthly phone allowance of INR 600 (taxable), rent-free accommodation, transport, and other allowances.

Dr. (Ms.) A Nanda Scholarship
Dr. (Ms.) Delhi University initiates a Nanda scholarship scheme in the name of Dr. A Nanda. The scholarship is awarded to the student pursuing M.Ed at Delhi University and who has scored an exceptional score in B.Ed (Delhi University). The amount of scholarship under Dr. (Ms.) A Nanda scholarship scheme is INR 8,000 or the amount of interest earned by the endowment of INR 1,00,000, whichever is less. The university will award an M.Ed scholarship amount on the recommendation of the Dean, Faculty of Education. The student receiving any other financial assistance is not eligible under this scheme.
