GATE Exam Pattern 2024
The conducting board has issued the GATE test pattern 2024 for all 30 papers. MCQs, MSQs, and NAT questions make up the GATE 2024 test design. The exam lasts three hours or 180 minutes.
- General aptitude will receive 15 marks in papers AR, CY, DA, EY, GG, MA, PH, ST, XH, and XL, and subject questions will receive 85 marks.
- There will be 65 questions in the test. The total mark is 100. Engineering and general aptitude: About 28% of the total points for the examinations will come from mathematics.
- For incorrect MCQ responses, there is a negative marking in GATE; for 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted, and for 2-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
