GATE Exam Centres 2025 (Released): New & State-wise Centres List

GATE Exam Centres 2025 include 176 centres. GATE 2025 exam centres are organized into 8 zonal IITs that cover 219 cities as per IISc Bangalore. When filling out the application forms, aspirants can select the GATE exam centre change.

Applicants can do GATE centre change without paying an additional fee. GATE 2025 will be held in India. IISc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee are the eight zonal centres for GATE 2025.

How to Choose GATE Exam Centers 2025?

• GATE exam centers 2025 for the first and second exams must be in the same exam zone. Any zone may be the third GATE centre of choice.
• Candidates can choose a GATE exam centre after entering all the necessary information.
• According to their convenience, candidates can choose any one of the centres, taking into account their closest city.

• Step 1: Go to the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website.
• Step 2: Access your account by entering your Enrollment ID/Email Address, Password, and Captcha.
• Step 3: Select Change Examination City.

• Optional Centres: The candidate may select up to three cities from the list of examination cities shown in the table above.

Instructions to be Followed at GATE Exam Centres 2025

• Only those who possess a valid GATE 2025 admit card and a photo ID will be allowed entry to the testing facility.
• Arrive at the testing location at least 60 minutes before the exam.
• For rough work, scribble pads will be provided; these must be returned after the exam is over.
• For the calculating work, a virtual scientific calculator will be available on-screen.
• After 9:30 AM (for the morning session) and 14:30 PM, entry to the test room will be forbidden (for the afternoon session).
