J&K NEET Merit List 2024 will be declared by the conducting body as soon as the NEET 2024 counseling process begins. Aspirants must submit the NEET 2024 application form before having their documents validated.

Like other states, Jammu and Kashmir have opted out of counselling for seats under the All India Quota (AIQ). Instead of dividing seats into 80% State Quotes and 15% All India Quota (AIQ), the state directs admissions under 100% State Quota.

Jammu and Kashmir NEET Merit List 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must meet the NEET 2024 cutoff to qualify for further rounds.
• To participate in counselling and seat allotment, aspiring candidates must hold J&K domicile certificates and sign or submit a declaration form. 
• They should pass class 12 or equivalent from a recognized school, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects.
• They must be a minimum of 17 years as of December 31, 2024.
• They should qualify for NEET 2024 by scoring more than the cutoff marks.

Tie-Breaking Criteria Of J&K NEET 2024 Merit List

There are certain norms that are followed by the authorities in case there is a tie among candidates. Read below to know more:

• If two or more applicants have identical NEET scores, the regulatory body will use the tie-breaking procedure listed below to create the J&K NEET 2024 merit list.
• In the J&K NEET entrance 2024, the applicant with the highest biology score will be given preference.
• The applicant with a better chemistry score will be considered for admission if there is still a tie.
• If the tie is still not broken, the medical aspirant candidates with fewer incorrect tries will be given precedence for J&K NEET 2024 admission.
• If the problem still exists after considering all of these variables, the older candidate is given priority.

NEET 2024 Expected Cutoff for J&K

The Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) will announce the JK NEET cut off 2024. Candidates should be aware that JK NEET counseling 2024 is used to fill all undergraduate medical and dentistry seats in Jammu and Kashmir.

In Jammu & Kashmir's medical and dental schools, there is no all-India quota. As a result, JK NEET 2024 cutoff will only be available through state quota, in contrast to other Indian states.

NEET 2021 Merit List for J&K

The government published the J&K State NEET Provisional Merit List 2021 for MBBS/BDS on February 27, 2022. The J&K State Merit List 2021 is made public on the official website.

Only those applicants whose names appeared on the merit list are qualified to sign up for the JK NEET counseling. In addition, the Jammu and Kashmir Medical Merit List 2021 is examined by category and other information.

NEET 2020 Merit List For J&K

Jammu and Kashmir firmly base admission to medical programs on a candidate's merit. The 2020 exam was somewhat postponed because of COVID-19. However, the NEET UG merit list was published on November 18, 2020.

Candidates whose names appear on the merit list are then entitled to register for counselling when the merit list is published online. In Jammu and Kashmir, admission to the MBBS and BDS programs is solely based on a candidate's merit.
