Tie-Breaking Criteria for Karnataka NEET Merit List 2024
The tie-breaking criteria used by KEA when two or more qualified candidates have scored the same NEET 2024 scores while preparing Karnataka MBBS merit list 2024 are listed below.
- Candidates who have scored higher in the NEET Biology section will be ranked higher in the merit list.
- If the tie persists, the candidate with the higher score in the NEET Chemistry section will be ranked higher.
- If the tie is still not resolved, the candidate with the lesser number of incorrect responses will be ranked higher in the merit list.
- If the tie exists even after applying the above rules, the older candidate will be placed higher in the merit list.
What After Karnataka NEET Merit List 2024 Release?
After the release of the Karnataka MBBS 2024 merit list, candidates will have to submit the required documents for the Karnataka MBBS/BDS admission 2024 verification process. KEA will release the final Karnataka MBBS merit list 2024 after the document verification process, on the official website.
The candidates whose names are on the final merit list for Karnataka MBBS admission 2024 will have to download the ‘Verification Acknowledgement Slip’ from the official website of KEA using their login credentials, such as the user ID and password. The Secret Key required for the counselling process will be included in the Verification Acknowledgement Slip.
