Kerala NEET Merit List 2023 Tie Breaking Criteria
To resolve situations like that of two or more candidates securing the same merit rank, the following tie-breaking criteria are used to decide which candidate gets awarded the higher position in the Kerala NEET merit list 2023.
- The candidate with better marks in Biology will be considered first.
- The Chemistry marks will be considered next if the tie still exists.
- If the tie still doesn’t get resolved, the candidate with a lesser number of incorrect responses will be given the higher rank.
- If the tie exists even after following the above three criteria, the older candidate among them gets to keep the higher rank.
