The number of courses offered by IIMs is more than 72. IIMs offer these courses at the graduate, executive, doctoral, part-time and certificate levels. All 20 IIMs deliver a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) as the flagship program.
Following the passage of the IIM bill in 2018, the PGPs offered by the IIMs became MBA degree programs. The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) are management education and research institutes under the Ministry of Education of the Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria for Courses Offered by IIMs
The courses offered by IIMs have eligibility criteria that one needs to fulfil. Following mentioned are the key points of the eligibility criteria:
- At least 50 per cent overall upon graduation or equivalent from an accredited university.
- For SC/ST/PwD applicants, the minimum required score is a total of 45 per cent upon graduation.
- For courses other than the top PGP, work experience is also a requirement. The length of work experience varies depending on the course.
