JEE Main Paper 2 results will be released on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA), and students can follow the below-mentioned steps to check the JEE Main Paper 2 result 2025:
- Visit the official website for JEE Main 2025.
- Click on the 'result' tab to check your results.
- The candidate must log in using their application number and date of birth or password and click on the 'submit' tab.

Compilation of JEE Main 2025 Paper-2 (B.Arch and B.Plan) Result
The JEE Main 2025 B.Arch and B.Plan results are declared as scorecards. The candidates can check their overall percentile as well as section-wise marks in each subject on the scorecard.
The method used for the compilation of results for both B.Arch and B.Plan papers is the same, irrespective of the different question papers for each course. The compilation of the results for the B.Arch and B.Planning paper is done in the following ways:
- Calculation of the raw marks obtained using the marking scheme of the exam (+4 for the answer and -1 for wrong answers)
- Conversion of the raw marks into percentile score / JEE score for the overall score and all the sections separately.
- Allotting All India Rank (AIR) based on the NTA score of the candidates. In case 2 or more candidates get the same NTA score, the tie-breaking methodology is applied.

JEE Main 2025 Cut off for B. Arch and B. Planning
The JEE Main paper 2 cut-off 2025 is processed after the exam result. To move forward for admission, candidates need to score more marks than prescribed in the cut-off. The minimum marks needed for admission are based on certain factors mentioned below:

JEE Main 2025 Tie-Breaking Method for Paper-2
Even though B.Arch and B.Planning use the same method for the compilation of marks; the tie-breaking method is different for them. The tie-breaking method for each course is as follows:
B.Arch
- Candidates who obtain higher marks in Mathematics are given a higher AIR.
- Then, candidates who obtain higher marks on the aptitude test are considered.
- Next, candidates obtaining higher marks in the drawing test are considered.
- Then, the candidates who are older in age are given better AIR.
- In the case of no resolution, the candidates are given the same rank.
B.Planning
- Candidates who obtain higher marks in Mathematics are given a higher AIR.
- Then, candidates who obtain a higher score on the aptitude test are considered.
- Next, candidates obtaining higher marks in the planning test are considered.
- Even if there still remains a tie, then candidates older in age are given better AIR.
- In the case of no resolution, candidates are given the same rank.
