KCET is a state-level entrance examination arranged by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The examination is held for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and the undergraduate examination is known as UGCET.

KCET Application Form 2025

- Mark sheets of class 10 and 12.
- Scanned photograph in jpg form.
- Scanned signature in jpg form.

- The page will be directed to a new page.
- From there, select the 'CET 2025 - UG Online Application' and click the link.

- Scroll down the page and click on the 'New user. Click here to register' option.
- All the information linked to filling up the application will be listed point-wise. Read carefully and then hit on the 'Proceed to Apply Online' option.
- The registration page will be displayed. Select the yes or no option to confirm the citizenship of India. Additionally, mark the 2nd PUC examination attending year.
- Next, enter the details such as name, father's name, mother's name, contact number, email-id, SSCL/ class 10 registration number, enter the security code and click on submit.
- With the steps mentioned above, the registration process will be complete.
- After registration, the application login page will be displayed.
- Enter the application number and password and hit the login button.
- Fill in the application form with all the specifications required. Upload the scanned photograph and signature.
- Recheck all the specifications entered before submitting.
- Pay the amount for the application fee.

KCET Admit Card 2025
Candidates will be presented with the facility to download the admit card 3-4 days before the KCET exam. Further, the admit card can be downloaded from the official website; anything downloaded from elsewhere is unacceptable.

KCET Eligibility Criteria 2025
While progressing to apply for the KCET, candidates are required to be Indian citizens. The candidates necessarily need to pass the 10+2 from any government of Karnataka recognised institution.
Additionally, the academic institution must be located in Karnataka.
Further, KCET eligibility requirements mention Kannada medium candidates who have studied for 10 years from classes 1 to 10. However, candidates from outside Karnataka are not eligible for applying for KCET.
Besides, the minimum age for appearing for KCET is set at 17 years. Nonetheless, candidates applying from special categories get some exceptions in the age boundary. KCET course-wise eligibility criteria are displayed in the table below:

KCET Exam Pattern 2025
The KCET exam is organized in pen-and-paper mode, which is offline. Therefore, candidates will receive OMR sheets, wherein they need to circle the right answers. There will be four choices of answers; the correct one is demanded to be circled.
However, candidates should keep in mind that once the answer is circled, it cannot be altered. In any case, if the candidates mark two answers, the answer will be considered cancelled.
In addition to this, there will be 60 questions for each subject, and the time allotted for each exam will be 80 minutes. Candidates are suggested to distribute their time respectively and answer the questions.
