Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has published the results on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their KCET 2024 result online using their application number and the first four characters of their name. The qualified candidates will be called to participate in KCET counselling 2024.

KEA released KCET 2024 seat matrix at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The seat matrix provides the total number of seats available in KCET 2024 participating institutes.

The Karnataka Examination Authority has made the additional rank list for the KCET 2024 result available on the official website. The Karnataka Examination Authority has published the KCET 2024 result supplementary rank list on its official website. Applicants can view the KCET rank list 2024 on kea.kar.nic.in. KCET Merit List 2024

The authorities prepare the KCET merit list 2024 of the applicants based on scores secured by the students in the entrance test. The KCET merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics subjects.

Tie-Breaking Policy of KCET 2024

When there are two or more candidates who have obtained the same marks in the exam, tie-breaker criteria will be implied. Some of the ways KEA breaks the tie in KCET result 2024 are listed below.

KCET 2024 Tie Breaking Criteria for B.Arch

• If the candidates have scored the same marks in NATA then the merit is determined based on marks obtained in Mathematics in the qualifying exams.
• If the tie persists, then the age is considered, and the elder candidate gets the higher rank.

KCET 2024 Tie Breaking Criteria for B.Tech and Other Courses

• The first consideration is given to Biology/ Mathematics marks.
• If the tie persists, then the marks of the candidates in Chemistry/ Physics will be considered.
• Even now, if the tie persists, the marks in respective subjects in the qualifying examination will be used.
• As a last resort, the age of the candidates will be considered. The elder candidate will be allocated a higher rank.

Note: If the above-mentioned ways to break the tie fail, KEA will use the draw of lots method. According to this, the merit list shall be allocated by the draw, which will be based on luck.

KCET Pass Marks 2024

According to the KCET booklet, all Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga applicants must achieve a minimum passing score of 12 out of 50 in the Kannada Language Examination administered by KEA to be considered for rank assignment and seat allocation in CET. (The Kannada Language Test paper will be of the fourth standard level).

What After KCET Result 2024?

Once the KCET result 2024 is announced, candidates can start the registration for the counselling process. Registration can be done by visiting the official website of the Karnataka Examination Authority. Once the candidate gets the verification slip, they can fill in their chosen courses and colleges.
