KCET Exam Day Guidelines 2025 have been issued by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), along with the release of the admit card. The instructions include KCET Dress Code 2025, the things that are permitted and prohibited in the exam centre, and more.

KCET Exam Day Guidelines 2025 and Instructions

The Karnataka Examination Authority released the KCET 2025 exam date. The KCET exam is scheduled for Apr 15, 16 and 17, 2025, for Kannada Language, Physics and Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology courses. Applicants are recommended to adhere to all of the KCET 2025 exam day guidelines and instructions when taking the exam. Candidates are also asked to follow the KCET dress code 2025.

• Candidates are encouraged to arrive at the KCET exam centre 2025 before the scheduled time.
• Please do not bring any electronic devices, including Bluetooth, mobile phones, markers, paper, calculators, or wireless sets, inside the exam room.
• Candidates must arrive at the examination center with their KCET hall ticket and a valid ID.
• Avoid bringing a watch to the exam location.
• The exam room must be silent at all times. Candidates observed communicating with or signalling other candidates will be subject to strict action.
• Face masks must be worn during the inspection, and COVID-19 guidelines must be followed.
• Candidates should arrive at the examination location at least two hours before the first bell and take their seats as soon as the KCET bell rings.
• When the candidate is present for the test, the invigilator confirms the identity of the photograph on the admit card, identity card, and nominal roll.
• Only ballpoint pens with blue or black ink are permitted, as mentioned on the KCET exam day guidelines 2025.
• Before the KCET exam is finished, candidates will not be permitted to leave the exam centers.
• Verify that the question booklet's serial number and the OMR sheet's number are identical. Whenever there is a discrepancy, speak with the invigilator. Inform the center if you see someone coming from the containment zone.
• Candidates are urged to securely guard their KCET admit card for the entire examination period and to present it when needed.
• Write or shade the name, CET number, version code, and serial number of the question booklet on the OMR sheets during the first 10 minutes of the exam. These details must be entered carefully because they are essential. After each paper, place a left-hand thumbprint in the area at the bottom of the upper OMR sheet.
• Candidates can only bring a valid ID card and KCET admit card to the exam center. A legitimate identification card can be an Aadhar card, a driver's license, a passport, a PAN card, a voter ID, a second PUC diploma, or a 12-semester standard admission ticket.
• Those taking the Kannada Language Test must bring a photocopy of their parents' report card, diploma, or other official documentation.

KCET Dress Code 2025

While the authorities haven’t set any particular KCET dress code, candidates should keep certain things in mind when reporting to their allocated KCET exam centre 2025. Here’s what candidates need to know:

KCET Dress Code for Males 2025

Male candidates must wear simple and comfortable clothes, preferably a plain t-shirt, a shirt with pants or jeans, or simple traditional wear. They must ensure that they easily pass the frisking process.

Any implicating material in the pockets must be removed beforehand. Thus, they must ensure that the clothes have fewer pockets.

It is also advisable to avoid wearing boots or shoes. Rather, candidates should wear low-heeled sandals or slippers.

 Moreover, candidates must not forget to wear comfortable and weather-appropriate clothes.

KCET Dress Code for Females 2025

More or less, the KCET dress code 2025 also mandates that female candidates wear comfortable and simple clothes. It is also advisable that they must not keep their hair open or fashionable, and must not have any headgear like hair bands, pins, etc. Rather, females should keep their hairstyle simple.

Female candidates should also ensure that they are wearing fewer pieces of jewellery, or preferably no jewellery. It will be easier for them to pass the frisking.

Moreover, as per the KCET dress code 2025, female candidates should wear light clothes.

KCET Exam Timings 2025
