JEE Advanced 2024 Exam Day Guidelines specify all the critical details that candidates have to follow when appearing for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam on May 26, 2024. JEE Advanced 2024 guidelines state that candidates should bring their JEE Advanced 2024 admit card along with a government photo ID proof with them on the exam day.

JEE Advanced exam was conducted in two shifts. As mentioned in the admit card, candidates had to report to the examination hall in time. The first shift was from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the second from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates should have reached the JEE Advanced 2024 exam centre hall 2 hours before the exam.

JEE Advanced reporting time for the shift 1 session was from 7:30 am to 8 am. JEE Advanced 2024 reporting time for shift 2 was from 1:30 pm - 2 pm. The admit card includes full JEE Advanced 2024 exam day guidelines.

List of Barred Items for JEE Advanced 2024

A list of items is unacceptable inside the JEE Advanced exam hall. The conducting authority follows strict JEE Advanced 2024 exam day guidelines, and anyone found in possession of any of the barred items will be confiscated from the exam.

Ans. Candidates must wear simple, comfy clothing. JEE Advanced is a 6-hour-long exam, therefore wear something lightweight and breathable.

JEE Advanced test is held in two shifts, morning and afternoon. JEE Advanced reporting time is indicated on the admit card. JEE Advanced exam times for the morning shift are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., while the second shift is 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Candidates need to arrive at the examination centre before 7:30 a.m. for Shift 1. It is recommended that applicants arrive on time at the designated centre to prevent the negative consequences of being late or not finding the centre.

Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall after the start of the exam for both papers. Arriving early will also allow you to complete JEE Advanced 2024 exam day guidelines process more quickly. After entering the exam centre, biometric registration/verification will take place prior to the start of both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

• Make careful to follow all of JEE Advanced 2024 exam day guidelines given to you by the invigilator.
• During the process, you will undoubtedly be anxious, but keep in mind that there are some exam formalities to follow. Failure to cooperate with the authorities may result in your dismissal from the centre. The candidate's identification will be verified by invigilators and officials from IITs.
• The computer screen on the computer system allotted to you will show your name, photograph, and JEE Advanced 2024 roll number. You can log into your computer and begin reading the instructions 20 minutes before the exam begins. Please keep in mind that the login ID is your JEE Advanced 2024 Roll No., and the password is your date of birth (in ddmmyyyy format).
• Please hand over your downloaded JEE Advanced 2024 admit card to the invigilator. After your identification has been verified during the examination, the authorities will issue you the original admit card. Keep the original admit card safe until all admission processes are completed.
• Time for finger prints: As part of the pre-exam protocol, you must provide your index fingerprint. Remember that the same fingerprint will be used for JEE Advanced counselling 2024 after passing the exam. When giving fingerprints, keep your hands clean and free of oil or cream.
• Use the included scribbling paper for all rough work. The doodle pad is only for rough work, and nothing written there will be utilised for evaluation purposes. No additional scribble pads will be issued to any candidate. After finishing each paper, present a Scribble pad to the invigilator.
• Stay in the test hall: You will not be permitted to leave the examination hall before 12 Noon for Paper 1 or 5 PM for Paper 2. Be patient, even if you have finished your paper.
• Papers 1 and 2 are mandatory.Make sure you do not leave the examination centre after Paper 1, as both Paper 1 and Paper 2 are required. If a candidate appears in Paper 1 but not Paper 2, he or she will be marked absent. Only the applicants who appear in both papers will have their ORS sheets examined.
• No time for grace: There will be no additional time allowed to complete the exam in lieu of the time required to complete the exam procedures. Only candidates who use the services of a scribe will receive one hour of compensatory time, with Paper-1 ending at 1 PM and Paper-2 ending at 6:30 PM.
• To avoid disqualification from JEE Advanced 2024, candidates must avoid impersonation during the exam.
