KCET Registration 2024 window will be opened by the Karnataka Examinations Authority in January 2024 on the official website. Eligible candidates will be able to register themselves using their names, email addresses and contact details.

Steps to Register for KCET Exam

Aspirants who wish to appear for the KCET must register before the deadline. Students must be extremely careful while registering for the exam. A step-by-step process is outlined below for the students to refer to when registering for the KCET exam:

• Step 1. Visit the official website.
• Step 2. Click on the 'New User' link.
• Step 3. Download the Information Bulletin and read it carefully.
• Step 4. Confirm by ticking the option that confirms if you have downloaded and read the Information Bulletin and click on 'Proceed'.

Step 5. Fill in all the required personal, contact, and other details in the KCET Registration Form 2024.

• Step 6. Submit the registration form.
• Step 7. After registering, students will receive an application number and user ID with which they must continue the application process.

KCET 2024 RD Certificate Correction

As per the latest notification released by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), many candidates are categorised under "General Merit" instead of their reservation category. This is due to a mismatch between the student's name in the RD Certificate and the SSLC scorecard.

To rectify this, KEA will also release a list of applicants who claim reservation status but remain unconsidered for it. Candidates must review this list and get their name rectified on the RD certificate to match it to the SSLC mark sheet. KCET Registration 2024: Important Points

The KCET 2024 registration process is the first step for the KCET exam. Students must check the important guidelines shared by the authority mentioned below for reference.

• Applicants applying for the ex-defence certificates through the Seva Sindhu Portal can either use their Army Number or CET application number to fill in the application form.
• Students who have studied for 7 years in Karnataka and completed their 10th from Karnataka need not submit any 11th or 12th certificate during the application form filling.
• Candidates need not submit any document if the above information has been fetched from the SATS Database.

• Applicants need to upload their certificate of 1st to 10th standard if they are claiming Religious/ Linguistic Minority reservations.
• It will be fine if the schools/colleges issue the study certificate as the documents uploaded by the candidates will be sent to the BEO/DDPU for verification. The countersignature of BEO/DDPU is not required.

KCET Registration Statistics

• In the KCET 2023 exam, a total of 2,03,381 students participated.

After KCET UG registration, students must complete the KCET application process and make the fee payment to complete the registration process. Students can follow these simple steps to complete the application process:

• Log in using the registration number generated during KCET registration.
• Fill in personal details, academic qualifications, and other required information in the KCET application form.
• Choose your preferred exam centre.
• Upload scanned copies of the photograph, signature and left thumb impression in the specified format.
• Pay the application fee online; the fee amount varies for different categories.
• After successful payment, a confirmation page will be generated.
• Download and print the confirmation page for future use.
• Correct any mistakes in the application within the limited window provided.
• Once the application is complete, download the KCET admit card 2024 from the official website.
