As per the latest notification released by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Feb 20, 2024, many candidates were categorised under "General Merit" instead of their reservation category. This occurred due to a mismatch between the student's name in the RD Certificate and the SSLC scorecard.
To rectify this, KEA released a list of applicants who claimed reservation status but could not be considered for it, on Feb 28, 2024.
