KUK full form is Kurukshetra University. It was established on January 11, 1956, in Kurukshetra, Haryana. The Department of Sanskrit was the only department in the university during its beginning year. The courses are offered to students in the Arts, Languages, Social Sciences, Life Sciences Engineering, Technology, Science, Law etc. KUK was in the top 100 universities in India by NIRF in 2020.
