What is NEET PG Normalisation 2024?
The percentage of students who received 'equal to or below' scores in the test is known as the percentile score. For comparison, the percentile method will yield a 100 percentile for the NEET PG 2024 topper from both shifts. The percentiles will be derived from the marks obtained between the greatest and lowest scores.
In order to prevent ties between students, the percentile scores will also be computed up to seven decimals.

How does NBEMS do the NEET PG 2024 Normalisation?
The raw scores and percentages will be used to produce the NEET PG exam results for each shift. Regardless of the true raw score or percentage, the highest score in each paper will be given a 100 percentile under this grading scheme.
It shows that the top scorer in that shift was equal to or lower than the scores of all other candidates. The percentage score obtained from the raw score will be used to calculate the final NEET PG merit list and ranks. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be ranked higher.
To minimise the tie among students, percentile scores will be computed to seven decimal places. The formula for the NEET PG normalisation 2024 is given below.
NEET Percentile = 100 - candidates rank*100/total no. Of candidates.
For example:
For instance, if the highest score in shift 1 is 80%, it will be normalized to the 100th percentile in that shift. If the highest marks in Shift 2 is 82%, it will be normalized to the 100th percentile in that shift.
This method makes sure that every candidate from a different shift can be easily distinguished from one another by giving each top score a percentile 100 inside its particular shift.
