Punjab NEET PG counselling 2024 is organised by the Baba Faridkot University of Health Sciences (BFUHS). Only NEET PG-qualified candidates can apply for MD/MS/MDS admission in Punjab. Based on NEET PG scores and registrations, BFUHS releases the merit list.

Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Punjab NEET PG admission 2024 requires candidates to meet certain eligibility criteria. The following points highlight the eligibility requirements for admission through Punjab NEET PG counselling 2024. 

• The candidate must have completed MBBS from a recognised institution in India. He/she must own the MBBS pass certificate.
• The applicant should have completed a 12-month rotatory internship.
• The internship certificate must be issued on/before Mar 31, 2024.
• The candidate must have an MCI/NMC-issued permanent registration certificate.
• It is important to get the minimum cutoff marks in NEET PG 2024.

Punjab NEET PG Counselling Process 2024

The counselling process begins with filling out the online application form. After the registration process is over, BFUHS will prepare the merit list. This section explains the Punjab NEET PG counselling 2024 process in detail.

Punjab NEET PG 2024 Application Form

Candidates must register themselves for counselling by filling out the application form. Only NEET PG-qualified candidates are eligible to apply for Punjab NEET PG counselling 2024. Applicants with state domicile can apply for 50% of state quota seats.

Merit List for Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2024

Based on the NEET PG scorecard, BFUHS releases a merit list for every category. Those who make it to the list are eligible to attend the Punjab NEET PG counselling process.

The merit list shows the names of candidates who are eligible for counselling. Moreover, it includes details like AIR, State Rank, NEET PG scores, etc. 

Online Filling of Choices

In this step, candidates need to fill in their preferences for colleges and courses. Only registered candidates are eligible to exercise options for seat allotment.

They need to lock the choices to complete the choice-filling process. Note that the choices are locked after the due date.

Release of Seat Allotment Result

BFUHS publishes the seat allotment result after every round of counselling. Candidates can download the result in PDF format from the official website. The authorities prepare the seat allotment list based on certain factors. These include NEET PG rank, available seats, choices filled, reservation criteria, etc. 

Reporting to the Allotted Institute

After seat allotment, candidates need to report to the allotted college. They must be present in person within the deadline, along with certain documents. In this way, candidates can confirm their seats and proceed for admission.

• Secondary school certificate/birth certificate for birth date proof
• MBBS Mark Sheets of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd professional exams
