Seat Allocation Process for NEET PG
The NBE releases the merit list for 50% of the All India Quota (AIQ) candidates based on the NEET PG cut off score. The names of the candidates called for the NEET PG counselling round are listed on the merit list. Counselling is done on the basis for admission to MD, MS, and DNB programs for candidates.
For 50% of the seats at AIQ, Deemed/Central Universities, and ESIC/AFMS institutes, counselling is handled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), with the remaining 50% of seats being facilitated by the appropriate state counselling body.
Candidates must register on the MCC website, pay the registration fee, and fill out the course or college preference form in order to take part in the NEET PG counselling. Ultimately, MCC releases a seat allocation list representing the outcome of the NEET PG counselling.
The All India Rank of the candidates and the alternatives they filled out determine how many seats are available for NEET PG. MCC will conduct four counselling rounds in total for All India Quota seats: the first, second, mop-up, and stray vacuum round.
