What is NMAT Normalization Process?
NMAT exam is conducted for multiple sessions for a long period. Hence the question's difficulty level is variant. Therefore, the NMAT normalization process is initiated to bring it to even.
In the normalization process, the scores are transformed into a common scale. The results are presented as a scorecard, and the marks are allotted after normalization.
NMAT Scaled Score
After the exam is over after multiple sessions, the original marks of the candidates are transformed into a common scale. It is performed by considering the variation in difficulty level of each paper. By transforming the marks into scaled scores, there is no dissonance between the different slots.
