Placements & Internships : I worked at Invendis Technologies India Pvt.Ltd as an intern software developer with Rs.8,000 stipend. The key companies that hire from BIT are Software Developers. The average salary of a student is around Rs.3 lakhs and the highest salary is RS.4.5 lakhs and about 30% of the candidates get placed from M.Tech. The alumni network connects with the students in helping them complete their dream of education and job.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for my course at BIT, Bangalore is a B.E. (Electronics and Communication) completed with 64.40% and the PGCET examination. We are required to pass PGCET with good merit. The cutoffs are from 1st rank to 500th.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee at Bangalore Institute of Technology is around Rs.65,000 per annum. Scholarships are available only for SC and ST and below income students and not for middle-class students. The average number of students who get a scholarship are about 40%. You can acquire a loan if needed.  

Academics & Faculty : The daily routine at BIT, Bangalore starts from 8 am till 5 pm and we have classes in the morning and labs in the afternoon session. Saturdays are half day. BIT has experienced assistant professors and professors, who tend to look with the students perspective and help them grow and achieve what they really want. The overall experience at the college is damn good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two hostels inside the BIT campus, one for boys and one for girls. Some of the PG's outside the college are good but some are looking in only to make money. The canteen is pretty good and cost per meal is Rs.40. The quality of classrooms and labs are good.

Clubs & Associations : We have a Rotary club and a lot of student association in BIT. We celebrate an annual day, and sports day and also presentations regarding advance technologies. The life at Bangalore Institute of Technology is really good.
